Strengths: - Built in Memory - Tons of inputs - Digital picture
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I bought this photo frame for my grandparents anniversary in the summer and because the memory's built in, I was able to preload our family pictures. They totally loved it.

1 Star ReviewNot recommended
Strengths: Clear picture Good size
Weaknesses: Costly for what it does. Can't delete what is on internal memory(you can save into internal mem., but...) No copy, move, or delete function.
Summary: I bought 2 at $180 each. After fiddling with it, I'm finding that when trying to connect to PC via USB, you can't have any external memory(SD, CF) inserted, or else error occurs. When PC finds the device, you can transfer files onto the unit, but you can not delete them! I've tried many different combinations/sequences to get it to delete, but was unsuccessful.

I believe that if a file is in use, you can't delete, like in Windows. It seem that the unit always turns ON in slide-show mode where the files are accessed, thus you can't delete.

If you try to delete, the unit locks up and you have to cycle the power to unlatch.

So, if you buy one, don't install anything in internal mem. You won't be able to delete it. It will work fine if you use external mem. But you have to PRE-load SD or CF somewhere else.

All of the people who gave positive comments elsewhere in the internet haven't really tried everything on the unit. Those who sent it to grandmas may be in for a surprise when they go to update the files stored in the internal mem.! Then they'll wish they had given a 1-star instead of a 5!

I consider my self as an amateur hacker, and I still couldn't get it to work right. Even if I didn't know what I'm talking about, it shouldn't have to be a techie/hacker to figure this out. Grandma should be able to do this with very little help from her grandkids!

Good luck!
