1 Star ReviewDon't waste your time or money. Great Concept but serious design flaw.
Strengths: Great concept, and they do work well - that is BEFORE they burn out.
Weaknesses: They will fail sooner rather than later.
Summary: I bought a pair of these, and they installed easily and worked great. that is until one of the units went out. After a series of troubleshooting with DLINK, they RMA'ed me a pair. The replacement pair looked like they had been left out in the rain. They were not NEW they were refurbed. THEN after only a few weeks, one of the units went out. Same deal... had to RMA those. Got a new brand new pair this time, but how long will they last?

An additional note to help backup my review... After I put my first pair into action, I was so impressed with these devices that I recommended them to a friend. Guess what? His lasted about three months and one unit went out. He spent over an hour on the phone with DLINK support, before they issued an RMA. I don't like to give out 1 stars, but I think you can see why I would.

3 Star ReviewDHP-301
Strengths: Good Connection and fast data transfer after setup.
Weaknesses: Units run pretty hot. One unit failed after 3 months.
Summary: 2007-04-22 20:05:57 This product was used to access a media server that was barely in range of my wireless network router. The media server worked well with the unit transmitting audio and pictures with ease. One of the nodes failed after 3 months of service. The node that failed was connected to a UPS. DLink customer service allowed an RMA and replaced the failed unit.

1 Star Review28 days later...
Strengths: Easy to connect, good speed
Weaknesses: Very short life...
Summary: Kit worked great for 28 days until last night. One adapter is working, the other one only has the power light on and is making a very high-pitched whine (like your TV is on). Spent a half hour on the phone with tech support--to no avail. Took the unit back and purchased the Linksys version. If you decide to take the risk and buy it, when it goes bad, don't even RMA unless you have to; just return it.

3 Star Reviewdhp-301 wireless
Strengths: works good and easy to set up.
Weaknesses: I would not recommend this product for people that are using wireless equipment such as wireless mouse and keyboard.
Summary: Great way to get a internet connection from one end of the building to the other. The speed is good and fairly stable for a gaming connection.
