Strengths: It is very light and very easy to transport wherever your grilling may take you.
Weaknesses: It can't be carried with the propane bottle attached. If the propane bottle could somehow fit inside somewhere like on similar competitor's models, that would be ideal.
Summary: This grill is a great extension of George Foreman's already great line of electric grills. It was a great idea to move into the gas realm with a compact and affordable. I looked at similar compact gas grills that sold for over $100. With the quality of this grill along with the affordability, George Foreman's got them all beat.

Strengths: It works better than any other portable and uses less gas
Weaknesses: None found
Summary: I've used barbecues mounted on my sailboats for 30 years. This one works better than any of the five or six special boat BBQ's I've gone through and it's one fifth the price. I figured tailgaters wouldn't tolerate cold hot dogs and I was right. Mounted up on the stern rail, in a one month trip it never blew out once in winds up to 25 mph. I've been able to throw away the umbrella we used to rig as a wind screen. It's hooked by hose to a 10 Lb tank and in one month the tank will still be good for another month instead of running out part way through. All it needs is an adapter kit for boat mounting then everyone can kiss goodbye to the high priced custom boat barbies.

Strengths: Light weight, excellent quality, easy to assemble, portability,
Weaknesses: Needs better instruction book. Very little information on how to cook for best results. Information such as cooking time, temp settings, and ways to take advantage of thie product for best results.
Summary: Overall, Salton has designed another innovative product. With football season coming it will be interesting to see if the grill will hold up under the extreme conditions of Western NY. I would reccomend this grill to anyone who is serious about BBQ grilling. What is missing, however, is how long a 1# canister of propane will last. This is important so a griller will not run out before finishing their cooking.
