wity from CA Member Since: Jan 2005 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 25 Days	another reliable product from viewsonic Strengths: dvi, bright, price Weaknesses: response time, contrast ratio Summary: VX710 is a good entry level 17" LCD for those who requires a DVI input. But even for those who only have 15-pin d-sub will also benefit from this LCD. As a matter of fact, i don't notice any difference in terms of video noise when switching between dvi and d-sub on this LCD. the main drawback of this monitor is probably a low contrast ratio. eventhough the response time is listed as 25 MS, but viewsonic's site list this unit as 16 ms. Weaknesses: this lcd has slow response Summary: high quality monitor from ViewSonic. The 17" is a nice size, and the 1280x1028 resolution is great. It's very bright, even when the sun tries to wash it out. It has an AutoTune feature that's very nice, Has a great-but-not-perfect picture when viewed from wide angles.
