Strengths: Easy xfer of pictures and charging
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Very nice being able to transfer pictures and charge at the same time. Just wish the docking station came with the camera, but at least the price on pricegrabber is reasonable ($50) compared to the $80 Sony & most local stores are trying to hawk it for.

3 Star Reviewthe best thing i like about the dock is that it lo ...
Strengths: looks nice, remote is included, also compatible with the p150, easy to tell when it's done charging
Weaknesses: connection with the camera is iffy, not good for long term storage of camera
Summary: the best thing i like about the dock is that it looks real classy compared to having a camera with a bunch of cables coming out of it like a weird science project. the remote also adds to the "ooh ahh" factor.

that said, there are 2 things that make me give it 3 stars. First, the connection between the camera and the dock seem iffy. If you didn't use the dock and used the cable that came with the camera; to release the cable from the camera, you pushed on 2 tabs on the cable to release it from the camera. with the dock, you just "pry" it apart. i'm afraid i'm going to break the connection port on the camera if i keep attaching and detaching the camera from the dock.

also, i think that the camera should be kept in a bag when being stored in order to keep the dust out.

however, i got this during the holiday sales and paid $30 (no rebates) from circuit city (normally $80).

If you are someone who values the "show off" value of an item, then get this dock. you can impress people with the wireless remote and the cool blue glow that the dock gives off.

However, if you value form over function, i would not recommend this dock. i wouldn't want to risk ruining the port on my camera.

Strengths: Super convenient. Cool blue light.
Weaknesses: none
Summary: Transferring and viewing camera data couldn't be easier. Just plop the camera into the Station and it does the rest. The station can be connected to a computer or directly to a television.

Want to display your digital photos and video in real time? Just set the camera in the base and use the remote control to kick-off a slide show on the television!

Strengths: Compact dual purpose device. Charge indicator.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: This product is basically a docking station for the cyber shot P100 and greater series. Much better option for charging the digital camera than the included cable since the latter fits only on the bottom of the camera and there is always a chance of damaging the lens if the camera is accidentally switched on while lying on its back. Usually retails for ~$60-80...found it on sale at CC for a mere 29 bucks.
