 Horrible Sound Strengths: Watching TV on this product is fine.
Weaknesses: When you watch a DVD you have to turn the Volume up to 100(Max) to hear anything.
Summary: I was excited when I purchased this product initially. However, when I got home and plugged in my DVD player to watch a movie in HD, I discovered that I couldn't hear anything. The volume was set at the same level when I was watching TV (approx 20) and I was able to hear just fine. I discovered that I had to turn it up to 100(max) and I could barely hear anything. I tried 4 different DVD players and got the same result. Several employees at Costco did the same thing and had the same problem. Vizio's response, after 1 hour of waiting on hold and ultimately getting back to me 3 days later, was to have someone contact me within 7-10 days to set up an appointment to have my brand new TV fixed! A receiver would most likely solve the problem, but the TV should work without it right??! In my opinion this is a bad product that is not worth the consumer's money.
