Strengths: fast switching speed, supporting PS2 and USB, cute design, no need any other connector, two ways to switching(hotkey+button), supporting speaker and mic.
Weaknesses: ps2 mouse not properly working in my linux machine
Summary: That's a great product comparing its price. I am using this for switching display between my windows and linux machines. It never fails in switching, and never gives any distortion in display. It also supports sound switching. However, one thing people do remember is that there are two different input supports, PS2 and USB. When I ordered the product online, I thought I can choose any of them for my system. But that's not. PS2 is for one machine and USB is for the other, they must be like that. The product description may be confusing and I misunderstood. But, that's okay because my two computers support either way. While I am using, I found one problem. The mouse is not properly working in my linux machine. I am not sure whether it is the problem of my system or the switching machine. However, considering others, It is working pretty well and switching speed is faster than I thought. I did not feel any delay while switching.

Strengths: Easy to connect, no drivers needed. No power adaptors, gets power from USB/PS2. Useful hotkey commands
Weaknesses: Speaker has noisy sound
Summary: Connect my Desktop and Labtop together using one monitor, keyboard ,mouse and speaker.

My Fujitsu Lifebook doesn't have any PS/2 port, so USB is the only choice to connect keyboard and mouse. I connect Microsoft Internet Keyboard and Microsoft Optical Mouse Blue. It works just like what it supposed to be. The hotkey command is very useful.

The only weaknesses of this device is that there is noise coming out from the speaker. It's fine for me because I don't use the speaker very often. But for those of you who are looking for good sound quality, this might not be the one you want!!!

Strengths: The ability to connect to a laptop that has only one PS/2 port
Weaknesses: Can't boot desktop without switching KVM to it first.
Summary: I have a Desktop and Laptop. The KVM has to be switched to the desktop in order for the desktop to boot. It doesn't seem to affect the laptop. Other than that, it works well enough. It's really useful if your laptop only has one PS/2 port.

Strengths: Convenient, no hassle of configuring the device. Easy and Fast setup PlugNPlay device.
Weaknesses: For USB connector, you will have to play around with the setting a little bit to get it work with 3-button mouse.
Summary: I've been searching for an affordable KVM switches on the internet and was able to hit it on a dot by buying this product. As I have mentioned before on this review, this product is so easy to use and it's virtually hassle-free. For those of you who are searching for an excellent product with cheap price, this one is a MUST to get. I definitely recommend this product for its awesome quality and convenience. Five Stars !!!!!

Strengths: Easy to setup and install, easy to use, no problems with video or sound, includes cables, supports a good video resolution, priced right.
Weaknesses: Mounting tape doesn't support side mounting the device
Summary: This KVM is nice. It installed without a problem and is easy to use. You can switch via a hotkey or manually with the button. Both PC's boot fine and run fine while attached. It supports a high video resolution, so you don't have to suffer just because you want to control 2 PC's. We needed this in order to setup a separate web server without wasting valuable desk space with another monitor. This KVM also supports sound which in general I feel is really important. For our use, it really didn't matter, it was just a bonus as it really didn't cost much more to have it available.

The only thing we wished was that dual sided mounting tape would handle sticking it against the side of the cabinet. We tried it out, but it fell almost immediately. Obviously it is only intended to hold it steady while sitting on top of a desk or whatever. Hardly a reason to not get this KVM though... everything else is great and it has been up and running without a hitch for over a month at this point.

3 Star ReviewTrendNet TK-209i
Strengths: small, all cables included, no drivers needed
Weaknesses: doesn't work with EVIL graphic card
Summary: It's not compatible with Evil Kyro 32/64 MB (very old) graphic card. It causes the other display to flicker. Other than this it works great. I like that it's small and everything you need is included.

Strengths: price, easy to use
Weaknesses: instructions
Summary: 2005-08-07 09:10:20 i had a client that wanted to cut down on space, so they decided to use 1 monitor with 2 desktops. i found out that if you have a mouse installed on the xp side before installing usb part of the kvm everything installs like a charm. I was able to use the usb mouse to navigate and install everything i needed. Hence, let me clarify something nothing was conncected to the kvm itself when i attempted this. Afterwards I connected the ps/2 side to the other tower with windows 98 connected the wireless devices and turn on the towers and presto everything worked like a charm. I was kind of worried because the mouse was actually a usb wireless device with a usb/ps2 connector, but it worked. No complaints so far with the actually device. The instructions are a little vague though. Sound it wonderful too! The sound does not lag like some other kvm devices that i have read reviews about with this option when switching from one computer to the other.

Strengths: NA
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: I purchased this kvm to use my wireless ps/2 keyboard and mouse with a PC and a mac mini. The mac mini has no PS/2 ports, so a USB kvm was a must. This did the job perfectly. The hotkey works well, and there is also a button to switch. My only complaint is the annoying light on the button.

Strengths: Completely satisfied. Works with multiple platforms, as well as both laptops and desktops
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I've never used KVM switches before, and was apprehensive before buying this, but it totally worked. I use this on a laptop with only a PS2 port for a mouse running Windows XP and an old desktop with two PS2 ports running Linux Fedora Core. It's as easy as plug and play. I haven't experienced any boot up issues. This product rocks.
