Plays dvd, cd, cassette, and AM/FM radio. Weaknesses: Does not have a subwoofer out..not a biggie Summary: This unit is a great all around performer, and bang for the buck. Plays MP3's, WMA, DVD,CD's even cassettes. I was impressed with the component and S-video outputs on the back. The unit is incredibly easy to use and the sound is great! Excellent shelf system for the money. Weaknesses: Speaker wire is hardwired into the speaker and the remote is a little confusing. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints.. Great buy for the money! Summary: I am very impressed with this unit. While this will not impress the audiophile audience, the unit is an excellent and inexpensive shelf system that would be a perfect and I mean, PERFECT, fit for a students dorm room or as a second home or office stereo system. The DVD output is great and includes both S-Video and Component video outputs. There are also external inputs for other components (dare I say, "record-player?")and some additional speaker outputs for surround sound. Strengths: The sound comes from the speakers is good.Can support many different formats.Great! Weaknesses: Just have used for 2 days.Haven't noticed any weakness!
