Strengths: Small, compact & easy to use. Durable.
Weaknesses: No cover for the screen
Summary: My two year old can work this all by herself. Pretty durable little unit - this was great for traveling!!! I bought two of them for Christmas presents but got them out early to keep the kids entertained in the car for Thanksgiving weekend. The kids love them & so do I!!! The only thing is you need to make sure if the kids grab them on the way out the door, you grab the case so the screen stays protected. I haven't had any problems so far, but I worry about it. Absolutely wonderful for the price! Comes with two headphones, a remote, a case that attaches to your headrest & a soft case for storage. Great picture & sound. Very durable (my kids - ages 2 & 7 - carried them around all weekend & the only damage was fingerprints that wiped right off).

1 Star ReviewGreat idea for computer monitor as well as DVD player.
Strengths: The solid design.
Weaknesses: Vertical lines appear just after the 90 days warranty expired. The fair quality of the display; excessive saturation and exaggerated contrast. slow to review jpeg pictures.
Summary: 2006-03-22 18:42:51 New comment: The vertical lines are severe. The tech support did not respond my e-mail and custommer service e-mail is wrong one. I could not trust this company.

preveous: Even though its capability is limited to display jpegs quickly, and hesitates in skipping mp3 songs, the solid design of the player gave me lots of idea to use it for a dvd player for my 1 year old baby and a laptop's monitor in the car.
