Strengths: Picture quality is very good
Weaknesses: Slow for picture to show when turned on, a little weird menu set up
Summary: All I can say is I am so very satisfied with this tv. For the price, it is definitely worth buying. The picture is clear & bright. The sound is nice too, not cheap looking and the brand is not noticeable on the front of the tv, it's almost invisible. I have this for 4 months now and I have not experienced any problem unlike with the other reviews, no clicking sound when turned on & off, just don't have any problem, I hope. I would definitely recommend this television.

Strengths: Picture and sound
Weaknesses: Remote control
Summary: This is a great tv, big protective box, good website support and sweet sound. The remote completely sucks, but thats really the only weakness. The picture is great, to be honest, I have not even hooked it up to hd yet, so I haven't seen its full capacity. Either way for 700 this tv is a great deal. It looks great on dvi and digital signals.

Strengths: high quality
Weaknesses: none to speak of
Summary: great tv for the amount of money paid for. Beautiful picture, better than most in the stores. Once at home the same results in terms of pic quality. I found that could not find a better 37 inch for near the price

Strengths: ATSC Tuner - Good Picture quality - Lightweight - Speakers on the bottom
Weaknesses: A little slow on tuning, remote is not that good, lack of PIP
Summary: Overall I really like this TV. It comes complete with a ton of inputs and an HDMI cable to plug straight into your cable box. The dual NTSC ATSC tuner is great for picking up Over-the-Air HD and digital channels. I was able to get over 21 digital channels, and they look great. I really like that the speakers are on the bottom, since it allows you to fit the TV in a smaller place. This TV fits great in the bedroom. I did not test it in a brightly lit room, though, so I cannot comment on how it performs in bright sunlight.

3 Star ReviewGood budget LCD for kid's/ guest room
Strengths: Price, ease of use, size
Weaknesses: Build quality
Summary: This was put in the kid's room, where it has nothing but "Nick toons" on it since the beginning; I must say that it's been very solind so far. The colors and picture details are obviously not as sharp (no pun intended ;), as higher end LCDs, but it's not that bad either. And for the price we paid... we really can't complain.

Strengths: Beautiful picture , good sound for an lcd tv , plenty of inputs (2 HDMI) , nice styling .
Weaknesses: None really , minus a slight lag (blue screen showing) while changing channels that are spaced further/far apart .
Summary: 2008-03-27 11:56:49 I did alot of lcd tv homework before purchasing my 237V ( Olevia came recommended by friends & family). I watch ALOT of dvd movies and wanted something more up-to-date then my current bedroom crt tv to really bring out the best in my movie watching experience without breaking the bank. I tried a few other "budget" brands , but was not really too satisfied (they were all returned) . I finally found a deal on the 237V at Walmart for $617 which was perfect for my budget ana was the tv Ive had my eye on since BF of '07 . Needless to say I VERY pleased with my 237V purchase . For me the remote is just fine , and the os menu does take abit of getting used , but both are nothing to really complain about imo . Definitly enough connections to please almost everyone , including 2-HDMI's . For me , the end results is what matters , with movies looking fantastic ( both hd and/or sd) , with FIOS tv looking great too !

~Recommend .

*UPDATE* New firmware 21b makes a few nice improvwements , including faster channel changing !

Strengths: This TV has a great picture!!!
Weaknesses: The only weakness I see about the TV might be the sound, which is kind of weak
Summary: This TV is a sleeper for the money. I bought it Super Bowl week @ KMART and only paid $617, which was less than most 32 LCD's were selling for.

Easy set up and gets a superior picture, even compared to the Samsungs and Sony sets

2 Star ReviewYou get what you paid for :(
Strengths: Great HDTV picture quality after warming up or when working properly.
Weaknesses: Remote control is not user friendly. TV getting a loud pitch noise and the picture get static or fuzzy when turned on when weather getting cold.
Summary: I have mine for about 5 months now. It works great when I first bought it for couple of months. But when the weather getting colder here in Minnesota, the tv getting a loud pitch noise and the picture getting static or fuzzy when powered on and my room temp is around 65F to 67F. I had to powercycle couple of times for it to work right again. Sound quality is ok not that impressive.

Strengths: Picture quality is excellent compared to similar TVs costing hundreds more. Broad range of features, user friendly, and easy to set up.
Weaknesses: None, really.
Summary: This is an excellent value TV for a cost conscious buyer who wants a big screen without paying really big bucks! The picture quality is outstanding, and controls are easily accessible. Since its a 2006 model, shop around for closeout deals on this one!
