Strengths: Colors, Brightness, Price
Weaknesses: Shadow details
Summary: We just bought this TV a few days ago and I am so glad that we did. This TV finally came down in price so that we could justify taking the plunge. Mitsubishi has a 6 color wheel and you can tell by watching. The colors are magnificent and the brightness is incredible. It is a little hard to pick up the details in shadows. However, we are still working on the calibration.

Strengths: Good quality picture, great color representation. Huge screen makes this a winner at any viewing distance.
Weaknesses: None seen yet.
Summary: Though I was just getting a great TV. But after I saw the DVI input on the back of the monitor I plugged up my Game/Work PC and am simply amazed.

Games and graphic applications look pristine at 1920x1080 @ 1080p with great color rendering and response.

Great buy.

Strengths: picture, price, size
Weaknesses: needs a time to warm up
Summary: This TV is unbelievable! My Sony 60" was starting to get dull pictures after 6 years, so I went into the market to search for the best value, Plasmas are cool, but the picture on plasmas has some set bakcs, glare, dark pictures look bad. This TV (DLP) is the biggest bang for the buck, easy to use, lots of extras like 2 inputs for co-axle cable. I would have rather purchased the 73", but the cost was $1k more, I don;t understand that reason as there doesnt seem much advantage for 8" more.

Higky recommond this over plasma.

Strengths: Very Bright Picture, HUGE, TV Guide feature is great, HD is crisp.
Weaknesses: None really.
Summary: I've had this TV for only a day but so far it has met all my expectations. The picture is very bright and the viewing angle is very wide. The size of the TV is for lack of a better word "HUGE". It's also very light weight for its size only 100 lbs. The wife and I could easily move it to the basement and set it on the console. The local HD channels really show off the resolution and I can't wait to hook up an HD-DVD or BlueRay player. The amount of audio/video inputs are great however the lack of an HDCP compliant DVI/HDMI interface may present a problem in the future but not in the near future. Overall an awesome TV worth the money!

1 Star ReviewCan't Get No Satisfaction
Strengths: Beautiful, enormous picture. Great clarity.
Weaknesses: Light engine problems.
Summary: After enjoying our tv for three months, we noticed that after it warmed up, there was an anomily in the left hand corner...It looked like someone penciled a number 7 on the screen...We called our Mitsubishi repair man and they took it to the shop July 9, 2007. He said the module was made by robots and he'd have to order it. Mitsubishi said it would be Aug. 15 before they could send it. We said could you expedite it. They said sorry, it would be Aug. 31 before it was available. The next phone call now says it doesn't even have a ship date. The people at Home Theatre Store aren't at all helpful, only giving us the customer service # we already have and refusing to give the phone # of anyone else higher up. The arrogance and lack of customer service by these large TV companies is galling. There's no such thing as taking care of the customer. So we are out $2400 on a tv that is in the shop, no satisfaction from Mitsubishi or Home Theatre Store in helping with the problem, and no idea when we will get tv back.

Strengths: Overall quality. Incredible picture. Ease of set up. Excellent owner's manual (easy to follow).
Weaknesses: None that I have experienced.
Summary: I am very pleased with the way Home Theater Store conducts business. Everything went very smoothly. Placing the order was straightforward and uncomplicated. I would definitely do business with them again and I will tell my friends about my experience.

Before making my purchase, I made a number of comparisons —LCD, Plasma, and DLP. I did not like what I read about Plasma's heat and LCD not handling live sports very well. I am thrilled that I decided to buy the 65" Mitsubishi WD-65732 with DLP.

When my unit arrived, I noticed how well it had been packaged to prevent damage.

Although I was anxious to "fire it up," I checked out the owner's manual for the set up instructions. After doing so, connected my Satellite/TiVo receiver and before hooking up any of the components, I turned the set on. I was absolutely amazed with the perfection of the picture. I did not make any adjustments. I am still impressed with the brilliant colors and stunning detail. It makes you think you're watching 3-D. A bright room does not affect picture quality. Children enjoy PBS programs - many of which are created with "pumped-up color."

My final configuration is: Satellite/TiVo receiver; a digital DVD Player; a stereo VCR; a secondary VCR for tape dubbing; a digital multidisc CD player; and an A/V receiver. Everything works perfectly. Incredible! I recommend the Mitsubishi WD-65732 to anyone.

Buy this set and spend some time reading the owner's manual. Then, connect your components, and you'll be more than pleased. Once you begin watching your favorite programs, you'll be more than satisfied with your purchase
