Strengths: Cheap
Reliable
Fast
Weaknesses: Can be Loud
Summary: I have used this product and would say it is good for the price. If you are willing to spend a bit more for a better product you can get a better product, but if this is in your budget (~25) then this is one of the better clippers I have bought for that price.
These clippers cut through my hair without any problems. Other clippers we have bought have been unable to efficiently cut through the hair without causing pain of the hairs being pulled. This clipper did not pull my hair nor my fathers when we cut his hair. It was actually one of the faster clippers we have used, we were done pretty quickly.
The clipper comes with different combs that you can use. It also comes with a little bit oil so you can oil the blades. It also comes with a pair of scissors and a hair trimmer.
The hair trimmer is battery powered. It requires 2 AA batteries which are not include. It is a nice addition to this package as it makes it easier to cut the hair around the ears and on the back side. The hair trimmer is not the best one I have used, it was above mediocre. It had enough strength to cut the hair however you can still notice a little bit of the small hairs around the neck.
Overall I would say this product is good for the price. I enjoy using it. It makes hair cutting simple and quick. Except for the small cons of being noisy and the hair trimmer being a bit underpowered, I would recommend this product if it's one of your first clippers or a replacement.

Starter set at a great price
Strengths: Cuts hair as expected, cheap price for a starter kit
Weaknesses: "Dummies book" is tiny booklet, whole kit kit feels a little cheap
Summary: If you are looking for a cheap starter hair cutting kit (as I was), this is a good place to start. Of course, the "16 piece" label is kind of a joke since that includes everything in the box, but you do get a nice, basic clipper along with a cheaper, smaller trimmer. In order to get the cheap price, however, Wahl did cut some corners. The Dummies book is a small little instruction booklet that doesn't amount to very much. The clippers themselves feel a bit cheap. (My parents have a older, probably 1970s set of Wahl clippers that feel a lot more solid. They have lasted for years, but I doubt that I'll be talking about this set in 2035.) Over all this, is a fine starter set, but don't expect something great. Buy it cheaply and expect to get a relatively cheap (but useful) product.

Strengths: Inexpensive clippers that come with many attachments. Extra battery operated clippers great for touch ups.
Weaknesses: Must oil the clippers before using. I learned it the hard way.
Summary: They work much better after oiling the blades. Plus the 5 year warranty is nice to have if they break. For the price these are a great set, no complaints.

Strengths: Inexpensive, Gets the job done
Weaknesses: Cheap finish
Summary: Purchased from amazon. Expected a low end clipper but have been very pleased with this clipper. Includes small trimmer that runs on a AA batteries that feels very cheap but works OK. The larger corded clipper is nicely sharpened and works great. Cordless would be nice but for this price what can you expect? Includes 5 year mfr warranty. I would buy another of these in heartbeat for the price.

Strengths: Good quality clipper; Everything included to get you started cutting hair.
Weaknesses: Tiny, almost useless "For Dummies" how-to instruction guide. Cheap scissors.
Summary: If you're looking for a starter kit to get started cutting your kids' hair, this is a good kit for you. All the parts you need are here, and they come in a handy plastic carrying case to keep them all together. The main clipper is a solid, heavy, quality instrument like you'd expect from a name like Wahl, and it carries a 5-year warranty. The other parts feel a little cheaper. The cordless touch-up trimmer is a nice bonus for detailed trimming and for use around kids' ears where the noise of the big clipper might bother them. It takes 2 AA batteries - add your own rechargeables. The "For Dummies" instruction guide is a joke. It's one fold out sheet, about 11 by 20 inches, and it's only on one side (the back is the same info repeated in Spanish). About one third of that sheet is silly safety warnings. You'll need to look elsewhere for good instructions if you're trying hair cutting for the first time!

Strengths: Affordable, lots of extras, easy instructions, carrying case.
Weaknesses: Not enough lengths for clips.
Summary: This complete hair cutting kit has been good to me so far. I have only used it once to cut my hair and it went smoothly. I have an older Wahl and it has been running great so that is why I picked this one up. I like the wireless hand-held trimmer which is a lot lighter and easier to maneuver. I only wished it came with more lengths for the clips. Overall a good product at a great price.

Strengths: case, very inclusive, seems to be made well
Weaknesses: none (yet)
Summary: The Wahl haircutting kit for dummies is for the frugal at heart that want to save a buck or two and not have to make an appointment at the local hair salon.

What can I say, it's a hair clipper
Strengths: - Cuts normal hair without too much trouble
Weaknesses: - Loud
- Feels kinda cheap
Summary: I keep my hair short and so I didn't need anything fancy. This does the job well, though it's not the sturdiest or best looking one out there.
