Strengths: Good copying quality; Small and basically portable.
Weaknesses: Comes with starter cartridge; Replacement cartridge is expensive; 4 copies per minute is not that fast.
Summary: I bought it from Amazon back in Jan. 2007 when it was eligible for a Canon rebate. I received my rebate from Canon on time. I've been using this copier to copy receipts and documents a few times a week. Although copying speed is not that fast I'm very pleased with the quality of copies. It is a basic copier and doesn't have zooming features. However, If you find a good price I would highly recommend it.

3 Star ReviewCopier on the GO!
Strengths: Portable, relatively light weight, inexpensive
Weaknesses: Lacks advance options
Summary: This is a basic monochrome laser personal copier. Its main strength is its portability. Compared to other copiers, it is light weight and can be carried anywhere copying function is needed. It is relatively inexpensive and does a good job on simple letter-size copies. Not meant for commercial usage. Overall, I will recommend it to anyone who needs just a stand-alone copier without havinbg the need to connect it to a computer.

Strengths: Small, Laser Technology, Inexpensive(w/Rebates)
Weaknesses: Expensive Laser Cartridge to replace, Requires A Fairly Large Amount of Space to Operate Given its Compact Design
Summary: All in all you are getting a piece of machinery that just as well could have existed 10 years ago. When it's operating the whole top half of the unit slides back and forth over the laser sensor while at the same time prints out your copy. I have nothing against that kind of technology except that it requires that you place the unit somewhere with a lot of space away from anything it might hit. The instant on button, quick copies, the fact that its laser copies, and its portability make the machine a good buy.

Strengths: Great Price, produce clean copy, nice design
Weaknesses: None
Summary: If you are looking for a very basic copier to make the occasional black and white copy, this product is perfect for you. It makes very clean looking black and white copies. There is no shrink/enlarge options and multiple feed. It takes about 25 seconds to copy one single sheet. However it does have auto-exposure with a manual override if it's needed. I strongly recommend Canon PC170 for basic home copier.
