Strengths: Beautiful, Rich, Dark Cherry color. All necessary hardware was included. Very well Packed and Sealed Box. Purchased at Sears on Sale. Delivery by FedEx.
Weaknesses: I tend to overtighten screws, but I learned quickly.
Summary: When I purchased my Olevia 42" LCD to replace an RCA 27" TV I didn't realize until I got it home exactly how much bigger than the RCA it was. It sure didn't seem that big in the Sears showroom. The old Cherry tv stand, although very sturdy, looked very small under the new LCD screen. So I immediately began looking for a new suitable stand that would also accommodate my home theater system. I did not like the steel and glass stands being offered at most stores so I did my research online at first. Searching for wood stands and narrowing down to Cherry finish. I found the Cambridge Wood TV Stand on Sale at Sears and even after delivery charges and tax it was cheaper than most similar at local stores.
Some sites had the dimensions wrong actual finished Size: 57¾ x 21½ x 23¾. Be sure to give yourself plenty of working space and get help to move once assembly is complete.
There are many pieces but everything is labeled and the instructions can be followed easily. Just be sure not to overtighten. Do Not Install The Doors! Set the doors aside and place the unit where you want it. Set up your components and then install the doors, this will save you some time.
The finish on this piece of furniture is a Dark Cherry and for my taste it is perfect. Everything fit well. The glass doors fit very nice and looks great under a 42" LCD screen.
I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this item.
