Strengths: Works great in my PDA phone, much cheaper than other brands, includes regular SD card adapter, roughly 40X write speed (1GB/25 min).
Weaknesses: None that I can think of other than Adata being a lesser-known brand even though they have been around for a while already.
Summary: I purchased this memory card from Meritline (23$ w/ free shipping) for my PDA phone, which is a Cingular 8125. I use it mainly for my navigation software, but also for extra programs and media that I need on my phone. It took me about 25 minutes to transfer a little over 1GB of files and media, which puts it at roughly 40X. The SD adapter doesn't feel too cheap, there's only so much you can do with a plastic piece that small, and it works great. Overall a great memory card with a pretty good write speed. I haven't had any issues with it yet, and would definitely recommend it for the price.

Strengths: Very affordable price in comparison to Kingston, Corsair, and PQI. Warranty is lifetime.
Weaknesses: SD adapter seems cheap in comparison to other brands.
Summary: As mentioned in the weakness and strengths above, this card is worth getting as it is a significant discount to other brand names. Plus it has lifetime warranty unlike PQI. Get it if you are going to use a PDA or a phone. The only thing I hope to see is a better SD card adapter though.

Strengths: Good value, straight forward on how to us, comes with adaptor
Weaknesses: a little bit slow comparing to some alternatives.
Summary: Works great with my PDA phone, not even a problem for 3 months.

The adaptor is very convenient, that enables me to use the card as a back up to my Digital Camera, aslo makes the card readable by general SD card reader

Strengths: Large storage capacity. Reasonable price. Lifetime warranty
Weaknesses: None so far, but with the price so low, you always wonder about reliability
Summary: I did alot of research before deciding to purchase this product, as the price/storage capacity was very favorable - as they say, you'd don't get something for nothing.

Card worked fine in my PDAs - SMT5600 and SDA.

I saw good reviews, good background on the company and a lifetime warranty. At least you can take peace of mind, that this company stands behind their product.

I have only been using this for a short while, but have had no issues with it, and given the price and warranty, I would say to others "feel safe to buy this brand".

Strengths: 2gb, one of the cheapest, comes with an adapter
Weaknesses: speedy is not neccesarily true,no speed rating given, 2gb cards can have compatibility problems,
Summary: I got this card for my Motorola Q. It works fine in the Q, shows a capacity of 1.87 gb.

Tested speeds were as follows:

816 mb file copied:

read speed = 816/132 seconds = 6.2 mb/s READ

write speed = 816/480 seconds = 1.7 mb/s WRITE

This so called "speedy" card aint so speedy..

I just tested a 1 gb micro SD I have from kingston (no speed rating given, not even called speedy)

It took me 85 seconds to read 604 mb from it = 604/85 = 7.1 mb/s read

it took me 207 seconds to copy the same 604 mb back to it = 604/207 = 2.9 mb/s write

So I dunno how speedy this thing is.

I also had problems getting it to read in my dell 710m. I finally figured out that the problem is w/ the size of the card (my camera and my sisters treo wouldn't read cards above 1gb either) so I installed a new driver and it started working.

Strengths: SD adapter included, great price
Weaknesses: Speed is not specified
Summary: Flash cards are cheaper everyday but $10/GB I think it's outstanding. This miniSD card is pretty fast though. Adata doesn't specify the speed. It only says "Speedy" on the card. Works great in my Nokia E62 PDA phone. Web site I bought this card from did not specified that SD adapter is included, and there was no picture to tell. Well, SD adapter is included, which is another definite plus. Highly recommended!

Strengths: Great price, Lifetime warranty, adapter included, decent speed.
Weaknesses: It would be nice if Adata specify the speed of the card.
Summary: Flash cards are getting cheaper everyday but at this price you can't go wrong with it. This miniSD card is pretty fast. Adata doesn't specify the rate but i think it runs as fast as my other miniSD 60x card. Great product at a great price. Well worth it. Runs well with my O2 executive .Recommended.

Strengths: worked perfectly in my phone
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I ordered one of these to turn my new phone into an mp3 player and it did just that. I love now not having to carry 2 devices (phone and ipod) around all day when I can do basically the same thing with one!

Strengths: cheap
Weaknesses: a little slow, but acceptable
Summary: This ia a cheap 2GB miniSD card I got. The card works fine with the included adapter in my treo 700, and card reader. I will not complain too much for the price I paid $20.

2 Star ReviewCHEAP but HAS SLOW SPEED and RECOGNITION ISSUES!
Strengths: Cheaper than leading brands, but that's probably it.
Weaknesses: Super SLOW while used as regular SD card in digital camera; Was not recognized by Kingston Travellite card reader, even after several attempts and formatting. Maybe problems relate to SD adapter?!
Summary: I already had one positive experience with A-DATA brand because about a year ago I upgraded my laptop's RAM memory with A-DATA 512MB PC2700 SO-DIMM DDR and it was immediately recognized by my Toshiba laptop and still works fine.

Therefore, A-DATA was a somewhat trusted brand for me.

Just to clarify, I don't have any device with miniSD slot yet, so

I bought this card to use primarily as a regular SD card.

Because it was at the same price as would regular 2GB SD card cost,

and I could probably have in the future a device with miniSD slot.

I put the card in digital camera Kodak Z760 and it showed capacity for

1029 possible shots. I took 8 test shots, it was still showing 1025 shots left. Hmm, that raised some concerns right away.

To copy photos from the card to laptop I put the card in Kingston Travellite USB SD/MMMC card reader but it did NOT recognize the card! It wasn't funny,

because my card reader was brand new and had no problem with any other cards!

Other one, generic mini SD/MMC card reader did recognize the card without any problem. All-in-One card reader recognized the card too, and I reformatted it in that card reader. Then I put the card back in the Kodak Z760,

and it took about 15 seconds to recognize the card and star-up, and only then showed space for 1028 photos! Camera's battery life was fine.

I restarted camera a couple times, no way, it was still taking

about 15 seconds for camera to start-up with this card inside

and to recognize it. Then, I reformatted this card in the camera, and again restarted it and now it took just 4 seconds to start-up and showed space for 1029 photos.

Just to compare, I put in the camera regular Kingston 1GB SD card, and it took only 3 seconds for the camera to start-up and recognize the card.

The same results were with generic, Impact 256 MB SD card.

So, something is wrong with A-DATA 2GB miniSD card while used with SD adapter? I couldn't test it without SD adapter, so I can't comment on

just miniSD part of it.

I would definitely keep my eye open for this A-DATA 2GB miniSD card,

and wouldn't recommend using it as a replacement for regular SD card,

which was my primary intention. I hope card is ok while used without SD

adapter. But to be on a safer side, I better stick back to Kingston SD cards.

Strengths: Great price
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: The card works fine with the included adapter in my ipaq, treo 700, and various card readers. Sometimes I accidently pull the card out of the adapter when I'm removing it from the device, but for $23 shipped, I'd recommend it.

Strengths: 2GB for $20? Can't beat that.
Weaknesses: No complaints
Summary: Bought it from Meritline.com and cheap is an understatement. I got home and open it up, plugged it in without even formatting, the Nokia E62 recognize it without a hitch. I moved all of my files to the memory card and most of the application on the phone operates faster. All in all, I'm a very happy camper.

Strengths: cheap price, miniSD card works fine, speed is fine
Weaknesses: adapter is the worst, doesn't work, not speedy at all
Summary: Got it as a pretty cheap backup. the adapter seems misfunction at all, but the mini card works with kingston's adapter, funny. epeed is enough for normal use, but not speedy at all.
