Summary: 2005-03-11 06:57:48 If your little girl wants a Close and Play for her room, well the Samsung HT-DS660T is the system for her, She will spend hours just trying to understand the complicated features, that in the end you can’t tell the difference from one sound mode to the next. They all sound the same. If you are looking for that total engulfed surround felling, you will not find it here. You see the speakers and hear the sound coming from them, no magic with this system. As for the Rear Reflecting Surround System (RRSS), all you need to know is that you can’t make sound without a speaker. If you want to bounce something off the wall try racquetball, you’ll have better results. This is an over priced, under achiever, with no bass, no surround sound, it’s just a complicated Three Speaker Stereo System with a five disk DVD player. Look somewhere else for your Home Theater System.
