Strengths: great sound for the price
Weaknesses: not as well defined as more expensive speakers
Summary: For the money (I paid $200/each), these are excellent speakers. They have a good wide range of sound, and decent bass. You will definitely want a subwoofer for movies though. It is also definitely worth paying a bit more for the Primus 360 as opposed to the Primus 250. The sound is just much fuller and well defined with the larger drivers.

I think that for the average person, these speakers are more than enough. When compared to speakers that are $500/each and up, you definitely notice that some of the higher priced speakers are clearer and have punchier bass. However, for the price, I don't think you'll be disappointed. There are a lot of reviews of the 360 on the web, and I bought the 360 without ever auditioning it in person. I had originally wanted the 250, which I though sounded decent enough at Circuit City. However, when I found the 360 and read good reviews of it, I decided to order the 360 to try it out. I'm definitely glad I did. I'm not an audiophile, so I won't try to nit pick at what this speaker does well and not so well. What I will say is that if you just want a nice set of speakers that will make movies and music sound realistic, these are definitely worth a shot.

Strengths: Durable constuction Slender Profile The tweeters hit the highs; Infinity is known for this Midrange performs well Visual appeal
Weaknesses: The stand contains four feet per unit. This can make moving the items difficult as the unit weights alot. Cannot remove the from panel to see/replace the speakers; maintenance must not be an issue.
Summary: I move these speakers. The hit the high ranges as I expected from infinity and the design and construction is outstanding. The price is a great value as I have purchase some Yamaha's for about the same price yet the quality and output is no match.

Again, the only problems are the feet and non-removable screen. I am tempted to buy another pair to replace my rear speakers; I know they will make the living room look much cleaner and more stylish.

Strengths: Great sound for the low price, thinner design
Weaknesses: Not enough bass
Summary: I would recommend this product to anyone. It adds great sound effects to what you are listening to. Particularly movies. Infinity is always a good name. I had Infinity tower speakers from over 15 years ago. They are excellent speakers. They lasted a long time. Even the aesthetics is good on the speakers. I was watching "Walk the Line" and it sounded great! I could distinguish their voices and all the other sounds. It adds so much dimension to movies. These speakers do not have the bass that my older Infinity speakers had. My old ones you couldn't turn up the bass all the way without rattling the cupboards. These won't do that. I plan on adding a subwoofer to give my system my bass. Oh, my speakers are hooked up to a Yamaha htr 5960 receiver. They sound better on this receiver than on my original 5 channel Yamaha receiver.
