Strengths: Inexpensive, looks great Weaknesses: A bit on the small size, lacks bass Summary: The sound from these speakers are very good. And considering the price I paid, they are incredible. Weaknesses: A little light in the bass. Summary: I used this pair of speakers as the front main speakers of a 7.1 home theater system. It delivers crispy high tone sound. The bass is supplemented by the subwoofer, so the problem of lack of bass is not an issue. The sturdy speaker box is far superior than the other vinyl covered floor speakers that I own. It seems to me it was made of solid wood. The speakers look nice with or without the speaker grille. The speakers came with rubber legs only, so you might want to look for metal spike legs if you want it to stand more secure on the carpet. As I've just used them for a couple of days, I still need to listen to them more to provide more comments on the sound quality. Strengths: Excellent value for money, strong mid range, Good lows from 5.25 inch woofers. Weaknesses: Will need a subwoofer for movies only. Summary: These speakers are entry level for the Infinity systems. They would be at home in a mid range home theater or an audio system only. The woofer is adequate for music purposes - only for very low base (for movies) would I suggest adding a subwoofer. The midrange and tweeters are above average for a mid-level system. Strengths: works well with my new onkyo receiver Weaknesses: none so far Summary: I bought these speakers to go with an onkyo receiver and have been pleased with my choice. The quality is awesome. though i am comparing it to just listening to my tv through the tv speakers before. I bought these for tv and movie use.
