 DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT! Strengths: LOOKS NICE
Weaknesses: SUPER EXPENSIVE OVEN LAMPS!
Summary: Within days of my warranty expiration being over, the oven lamp burned out. I checked on replacing it. It is not user replaceable unless you know what you are doing. A major disassembly!The bulb costs around a whopping $29.00! And that is just for the bulb. Most people will have to call service to replace it and you know how expensive that is. My last unit was a Sharp and gave good service. Bulbs were user replaceable and I am not sure it they ever went bad. Problem with GE is that they use expensive halogen bulbs, which have a poor life expectancy track record. GE makes them and isnt it just a coincedence that they put them in this unit. Also, just try calling GE repair. Crummy phone line, long wait, and then you cant understand the person that answers, so you have to hang up call again and get the same routine! My advice: Check out bulb replacement difficulty and expense in any microwave you buy before you buy it!
