Strengths: nice looking., strong and very fast, screen is very nice and bright, nice to have blu-ray on the machine but you will only appreciate the clarity on a 50" lcd, you won't really see any real difference
Weaknesses: hardrive always making a clicking noise when idle, sony have put many trial version software and other useless things which took ages for me to delete.
Summary: overall i would say if your buying it for the blu-ray then DON'T, first of all its still to early, end of the day HD-DVD might take the lead never know. and if u dont have a large LCD Screen in the house then don't bother watching it on the tiny 17", no point. rest of the laptop is nice and fast, the new core 2 duo on the laptop supports 64bit
