Strengths: Very close shave better than a Norelco or Braun, drys the razor after cleaning, fewest nicks and no razor burn out of all three shaving brands, sleek design, very quick shave for those alway on the go
Weaknesses: High price, trimmer designer better on the Braun,
Summary: 2007-05-16 19:08:56 First off when you look at this razor its the basically the grand daddy of them all with a price tag to go with it. The razor itself gives the best and closest shave out of all three razors almost as close as a blade but not quite. You never have to deal with razor burn and give the few cuts while shaving. The head of the razor truly contours to your face so it'll definitely will get every spot even the ones on the side of your chin which is always a problem for me. It always seems to back up its boast of a 13k rpm motor as this shaver completes it's shaves for me in under 7 minutes and I shave daily. A big grip for me with this razor is that the trimmer's design is awkward it sometimes closes while your using it, design was a lot better on the Braun for this. The razor always has the best cleaner out of all three razor, not only clean the blade but rinses and drys the blade. The unit itself seems pretty sturdy, it has the smallest head unit of all three razors . My one question is reliability as Norelcos are champ in this department as I had mine for 7 year, however my Braun died on me after a measly 2 yrs. However give Panasonic's reliability record, I'd like to say it will last for years. Other things, is the razor is really quiet, no real vibration will the shaver is working in your hand and and excellent design. You should know both Brookstone and Sharper Image have their versions of this razor however , Sharper image is $200 w/o the cleaning system and Brookstone is $250 with an ugly beige and wood trim, but if you like it, by all means go for it. On thing to also note, for those that like a cleaning system, It seems that Panasonic does have a value advantage as their cartridges come in 3 packs which can buy for a low as $8.50 per 3 pack. Also the replacement blades, $37 (not too expensive), seem to have a better fit and finish for this razor seems to be just like the original but I'll let you guys know whenever I replace the blades, hopefully not anytime soon though. Overall, I think given the long term ownership cost, it's cheaper to over this razor than using a Gillette Fusion well least for me when I compare costs.

Strengths: Closest shave yet for a panasonic razar. I have owned three in the last 10 years and these just keep getting better.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I love the panasonic razors. They shave ever so close, and are very easy to maintain. Just rinse under water and lather a little soap. That is all these guys need.

Strengths: Close shave, little
Weaknesses: Doesn\\\'t hold charge long.
Summary: Overall this is an excellent shaver. I don\'t notice any one thing that is dramatically better than the rest but it seems to so everything better. The close shave is about the same as with a blade as an electric razor can get. I experience almost no razor burn. The shave is quicker. The trimmer is so good I have to be careful not to cut too short. I like the indicator light which lets me know how much charge is remaining. Even when the charge is low the performance is still good. I only get three shaves on a full charge. These can be expensive but if purchased on sale it is well worth the price.
