1 Star Reviewx2 projector lamp
Strengths: none
Weaknesses: lasts less than 1000 hours
Summary: do not buy this lamp without an extended warranty. I have already gone through 3 of these lamps in one year. the infocus projector is not worth the money due to the high cost and frequency of replacing lamps

Strengths: Seams to have a very Bright lamp I can even work on my computer with my Over head light On and still see what I am doing Fine.
Weaknesses: Only Lasts Even On low output mode From 6 to 12 months depending on the Room conditions.
Summary: I Have Found through trial and error that You can extend the Life of this lamp By making sure the lamp Screans are cleaned of any dust and particles every month Just by take out the Bulb and using compressed air in the can.

Strengths: NA
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: Note that the 3000 hour lamp time is specified at optimum operating conditions(stable physical environment, no variance in current supplied, room temperature and humidity). Also remember that the only way to reach the 3000 hour point is to set the light output to half via the menu settings. At full power, the projector runs louder, hotter, and degrades the life of the lamp more quickly.

3 Star ReviewNice picture but burns out quickly
Strengths: Nice picture
Weaknesses: Blew to quickly
Summary: The bulb didn't seem to last as long as the manufacture suggest. Our bulb had maybe a 1000 hours if that and it blew. At this rate I'll have to purchase another one in 6 months. That's a lot of money in a years time.

Strengths: Lamps have lasted quite awhile for me. I read the manuel and it clearly states that you have to clean the filters every 200 hours. Also the lamp life depends on what inviroment you are in.
Weaknesses: Lamps tend to go out faster in a smoking inviroment or in one where grease or lots of dust and even cat hairs exist.
Summary: You also need to understand that the 3000 hours is a guideline. of the 1000 lamps tested 50% or more reached 3000 hours. ive seen some last 4500 hours. ive seen some last 900 hours. but usually i pull the lamp out and its coated with dust. Look at them the same way you would a light in your house. sometimes that light bulb can last 3 -10 years and sometimes 4 months..
