Strengths: It works perfect with Win2K and WinXP
Weaknesses: Seems to work on Mac but not listed as compatible on D-Link's website. It worked after I restarted my Mac.
Summary: I bought it in order to switch between my PC and Mac. At first I got a little worried because it worked on my PC the whole time, but on the Mac it only worked on the initial boot-up and then before getting into the OS I lost the video signal, after I restarted it worked fine. I'm not sure what the issue was, I just tried it for the first time tonight, but I'm guessing it isn't completely compatible with Macs. It works however, and as long as I can us it I am not complaining.

The product was ordered on a Friday and I got it on Tuesday the following week. (only 4 days... 2 business days... very good)

2 Star ReviewD-LINK KVM-221 POS
Strengths: A good paper weight.
Weaknesses: Does not even meet a baseline of functionality
Summary: This is an inexpensive 2 port USB KVM switch w/hotkey functionality (so they advertise). It's good for about 3 or 4 switches before my keyboard/mouse lockup and I have to pull both KVM cables to reset the device. A good way to find out the quality of this device is to read the troubleshooting section. Usually, they will not print a solution to problems they have not encountered.......and rather than build a better device, they append the troubleshooting section of their manual...I can hardly blame the manufacturer....I should have spent a little more I bought something reliable...
