    2 Weeks
Strengths: Cheap, simple, and works well with cable
Weaknesses: Reception with inbuilt antenna is not good, sound quality for some channels can have static, UHF is practically useless
Summary:

The package came with the TV, AC adapter, car adapter, and headphones.

I tried the TV for some time with the inbuilt antenna. TV channel reception was quite poor, but the radio channels worked well. Since I already had cable TV line on location, I attached the cable to the TV.

With cable, the TV can catch all channels on all VHF channels (channel 1~13). Reception is fair. For most channels the picture is very clear and so is the sound. For a few channels, picture is clear but the sound has some static and for only one channel, I cannot hear any sound although there is a picture. I am fairly satisfied with its capability to catch VHF channels. Tuning with the rotary tuner takes some time to get used to, but it works OK with VHF and radio channels.

UHF is a totally different matter. It is very difficult to tune onto a UHF channels, as any of these channels can be caught only over a very narrow rotation of the tuner. It takes quite a lot of fine twiddling the tuner and you MAY be able to tune onto a UHF channel. I have practically given up looking for UHF channels.

The TV picture quality is quite good, when you can latch onto a channel. The contrast/brightness controls can be used to fine tune this. Sound quality is fair.

Overall, the TV has served me fine for the $19.00 I invested in this.

2 Star ReviewPretty good for the money.
Strengths: Extremely small Cable and RCA input Car adapter and able to run off of batteries
Weaknesses: Feels cheap Extremely hard to tune
Summary: I had been using a small black and white tv, similar to this one, but the screen started to warp and the h-hold went crazy so I bought this one online for $22 including shipping. I used this one for about 2 days and then switched back to the broken one because it worked better. I found this tv extremely hard to tune. I could get a decent picture and pretty good sound on vhf channels. However uhf was a pain to tune. A half turn of the tuning knob moved through all 60 channels. I had to move extremely slowly and even then it was near impossible to get a good picture. When I hooked the tv up to the antenna in my attic, it got very good reception, however it was still hard to tune the uhf channels. The radio seemed to work fine. I hooked my SEGA Dreamcast up to the cable input and got a great picture with good sound (a small buzz in the background but not bad). I hooked up my N64 to the RCA jacks and got a great picture and great sound with no buzz. I have yet to test running it on batteries and the car adapter but the normal wall adapter works fine. The included headphones aren't very high quality but work fairly well. I would reccomend this to anyone who will be using it with some sort of game console or as a security camera monitor but not as a tv unless you are going to be hooking it up to a bigger antenna or cable.

Strengths: Compact, easy to transport, 3 forms of power and am/fm radio too! Great for power outages uses 10 c batteries and is always available for the latest tv weather news. Great for camping trips and sport
Weaknesses: The 10 c batteries don't last as long as they should but do provide enough power. The speaker loudness could be better especially for car travel around kids.
Summary: Great deal for the price and features, would recommend to friends for their use or to be given as a gift. Really do like the three power options. A portable TV that is a great value and something that in an emergency will be greatly appreciated.

1 Star ReviewCheap!
Strengths: good price; the package includes all things you need: ac daptor, earphone, car/boat dc cord, and antenna adaptor.
Weaknesses: not very solid; reception is poor.
Summary: 2006-10-26 18:50:09 i bought this unit because i need to move from one place to another often. basically, i am satisfied with its performance. anyway, it costs me only $16. if it had digital tuner, it would be great.

Update: well, the tv died after 8 months. radio still can work. i didn't use it extensively. now i rate it 1 star.

3 Star ReviewDecent TV for the price
Strengths: Small, Comes with car adapter
Weaknesses: black and white, poor quality
Summary: Although I did not expect much from this, this is a great little deal for on the road watching. This isn't too big so carrying it is no hassle. I would recommend this for people expecting to travel for over an hour if you have no other form of entertainment.
