Strengths: Graphics, Career Mode, Create-A-Character
Weaknesses: It's not football, but for a golf game it is at the top
Summary: Let me start off by saying that I'm not an avid golfer. My entire life I've played the game once, but have a stronger appreciation for it. This game brings an authentic simulation to your console. TW05 provides not only some of the greatest golf courses and golfers, but also puts you in control. Gone are the days of pressing button "X" on a sliding scale. This game gives you the feel of a golf swing in the palm of your hands utilizing the right thumbstick. At times it seems challenging, but in the end you feel as if you're truly swinging. This game is not only for the diehard golfer, but also the casual gamer. It's suprising the hours this game can take from a player once they begin to play.

Strengths: Nice smooth graphics. Correct Dynamics. Large list of Well Known players.
Weaknesses: Intros / replays annoying.
Summary: This is the best simulation golf game series for the XBOX at the time of its release. The graphics are superb. The list of well known playable characters is nice. Better yet, create your own character. Lots of courses to test your skills on. Everything and Tiger too.

Strengths: Graphics, Depth, Game Face II Character creation
Weaknesses: Game can become very easy after some time
Summary: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 has some excellent features led by the immense legend mode and the exhausting character creation model called Game Face II, where you can tweak just about anything from the characters nose to a hitch in the golf swing. The game is easy to pick up and can become fairly easy after some rounds and improving one's character through the game. The variation of course is nice and the graphics are outstanding, especially on courses like Pebble Beach and the TPC at Sawgrass. The controls are solid and the putting can be too easy at time especially with the assist of the Tiger Vision. The career mode is fantastic and allows for various types of gameplay modes from the PGA Tour career to challenging some of the greats in shotmaking and match play. Overall, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 continues to be the benchmark in golf games and is highly recommended.

Strengths: decent golf game, xbox live
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: Tiger Woods PGA 2005 tour is a pretty good golfing game. The graphics are an improvement over the last Tiger Woods games. There are alot of game modes to choose from. It has a pretty good soundtrack and sound effects. All and all I enjoyed playing this game. It's a good purchase if you enjoy golf.

Strengths: Decent graphics and sound. Tons of holes and ways to customize them.
Weaknesses: Once you figure out a course it's more or less smooth sailing, which can become a bit boring.
Summary: This version of Tiger Woods golf isn't much different than the previous installments when it comes to gameplay. However there is a much more extensive create-a-player and a new feature to alter the courses for more challenging play. I found this to be a pretty decent golf game that is easy to pick right up and learn. Sometimes a little too easy, the computer can still be a chore to beat at times. But golf is a game that you play against yourself, tryin' to best your own score and become a better player. True golf fans I believe will appreciate this game, with its true to life courses and variety of obstacles.

I've heard others complain that the putting game is not any challenge due to the addition of "tiger vision" which allows u to basically sink any putt no matter how difficult at least once or twice during a round. I haven't found this as a problem though, I just don't use it.

So if you're a golf fan and want a casual video game golf experience, sit back and and play a few rounds, look at the pretty scenery and listen to the little birds tweeting and the distant freight train in the distance.

Strengths: GRAPHICS,GRAPHICS,GRAPHICS! Lots to do and character creation. Online Enabled!
Weaknesses: None!
Summary: Being the first time owning an EA Tiger Woods title i am amazed at the graphics! Maybe what FFMooglestar said about being a "tad easy" might be true but that is when one customizes the game to your desire and difficulty. I highly recommend this game especially for online play!

Also will point out that it can be found cheap about $10 bucks!

Strengths: Easy to control. Superb Graphics. Many Golfers. More Sponsorships!!
Weaknesses: Very Similar to 2004. A Tad Easy, Tiger Visions makes putting rediculously easy.
Summary: Tiger Woods 2005 is an excellent Golfing game. If you have played a Tiger Woods game in the past, you know the quality of golf game you get. With each year, this series gets more and more in depth and makes it that much more similar to an actual gold career. The 2005 Tiger Woods adds some good and some bad. More Golfers, Items, and Sponsorships makes this great. Adding Online play was awesome. Tiger Vision, another new added feature makes putting way too easy on shots that should be near impossible to make. If you're looking for a Golf Game, and don't have any of the recent Tiger Woods games, this is an excellent pickup.

Strengths: Graphics, course selection, create-a-player, controls
Weaknesses: Very similar to the 2004 edition with a few minor tweaks
Summary: Tiger Woods 2005 is an exceptional golf game; however, it is very similar to its previous version (TW 2004) with not many new updates. The graphics are superb and the game offers an expansive course and character selection. It also offers a very robust character creation, where you can create a character and modify everything from their hair to their shoes. The controls are also very responsive, as you use the analog sticks to aim and swing the club. I highly recommend this game, but if you can buy 2004 for a cheap price, you may be better off waiting for the 2006 version.

Strengths: "Tiger Proofing," creating your own golfer, controls, online play.
Weaknesses: Bland graphics but that's about it.
Summary: When EA started the Tiger Woods franchise, it struggled to get off the ground the first few years. The series didn't really start making strides until 2004. Finally with the 2005 version, Tiger Woods has blossomed into arguably the best golf game on the market (Hot Shots being the only other competition). The create a player is unrivaled in just about any other game (not just golf). You can sculpt your golfer anyway you want and there is a plethora of options at your disposal. It's not just about the looks though, as you can even customize your own swing. Then there's the "Tiger Proofing" feature where you can alter golf courses to make them more difficult. The use of analog sticks is very intuitive (not to knock Hot Shot's fun but dated control scheme). EA has included a bunch of mini games and golfing legends to keep you coming back again and again. While the graphics are good, they don't seem to pop out at you. This is unfortunate because golf is all about relaxation and enjoying the scenery. Don't get me wrong, the visuals are excellent but after seeing EA's efforts on other games, I know they could have done better. Even if you're not a fan of golf, I'm confident that you'll become a frequent golfer (at least a virtual one) after you play Tiger Woods 2005.
