Strengths: * Cleans up great! * Light weight: easy to push around while vacuuming * Looks good * Fold down handle makes storage very convenient. It fits easily under all the coats in the coat rack.
Weaknesses: I wish there was some place on the vacuum where I could store the crevice cleaning attachment.
Summary: A great combination of high end features and an affordable price. This is perfect for my 2 bedroom condo. Cleans carpets, floors, couches...everything! It comes fully assembled so it can be used right out of the box and it is surprisingly light for the kind of features it has which makes it easy to push around the house. I have thick carpets and hard wood floors and this vacuum cleans up nicely.

Strengths: Strong suction power. The power boost button really boosted up the suction power!
Weaknesses: There is no place for one long attachment. Hush mode reduced noise only slightly.
Summary: I bought this vacuum cleaner because we become allergic to what we assume to be mildew caused by a damp carpet. Although the carpet was dried several months ago, we still sneeze now and then. The first application of the vacuum cleaner pulls up lots of what we believe to be mildew hidden under/inside the carpet (dark green/white very fine powdery substance), and lots of hair and other small particles. We can't believe how much is pulled up from the carpet that appears to be typical eye clean. We vacuumed the whole room and the carpet feels much cleaner. The sneezing symptom becomes much less frequent with time. We also bought a dehumidifier to make sure there is not enough humidity for the bad mildew to germinate.

The HEPA filter seems to have done a very good job because we observe lots of fine-powdered mildew stored in the waste tank. If most of the fine powder was blown out of the vac., we would have sneezed badly for sure.

The power boost button really boosts up the suction power! Sometimes the carpet got lifted by the cleaner! Don't buy one of those small, battery-operated handheld vac.; they just don't have enough power to lift anything up and before you can go through the whole room, you run out of battery.

One long attachment has no place to store on the vac., but it's not really a problem. The hush mode only reduces the noise level slightly. But the point of vacuuming is to get things off the floor as much as possible. Low noise means less suction power so it won't perform as efficiently as it is designed to. So that mode is not what we need anyway. The orange light doesn't really do anything that much. The ceiling light alone is enough.

The overall design looks good also. For less than $100, this presents a very good combination of value and performance. This high suction vacuum cleaner equipped a HEPA filter is a definite must for people with allergy.

Strengths: Gets a lot of dirt, nice attachments
Weaknesses: Light doesn't do much, cord not autocoiling
Summary: I needed a vacuum for my apartment, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. Plus I wanted it as soon as possible. This vacuum was pretty cheap and does a great job vacuuming up pet hair and other garbage. I was shocked by how much it can vacuum up. The bagless design has its advantages and its disadvantages, but its fairly easy to use and empty. This is a good vacuum overall.

Strengths: quiet, bagless
Weaknesses: one attachment has no place to be stored on the vacuum
Summary: I bought this as an early Christmas present for my wife, and from what she tells me(as I am a man, so I would not actually use this product) this is a fine replacement for an aging Eureka. I usually buy my wife cheap vacuums, since she uses them so violently, so it's bound to break sooner or later, so this way it costs less. It's really quiet, which means she won't have the satisfaction of making lots of noise vacuuming when I'm watching ESPN. I know that this is not an accident. It does have a "turbo" mode or something to that effect, and of course it gets louder while using this feature, I may have to find a way to permanently disable this feature. My wife mentioned she doesn't have to vacuum as often, so it's definetly more efficient than that old Eureka I mentioned. It is bagless, which is nice(read:less expensive) and the dirt hopper is really easy to empty. The vacuum also has a fold down handle so it fits nicely in a closet corner without messing up the jackets to much. In conclusion, your wife will love to get this vacuum for Christmas.

1 Star ReviewWORST VACUUM, DOES NOT WORK
Strengths: None.
Weaknesses: All.
Summary: Horrible. Piece of garbage. I have only used it a couple of times and cannot figure out why it's so defective. It is HORRIBLE for hard floor. Almost not even functional. I vacuumed my kitchen in bare feet and not only could I feel the hard grit and junk being SPIT BACK OUT and hitting my feet, but it did not pick up anything. After wiping my feet off numerous times and walking over the floor, I still ended up with grit and dirt stuck on them after I had gone over the floor countless times with the vacuum. This vacuum does not suck, it Blows. I'm no vacuum expert but I assume that because of the amount of air they suck in, it must be dispensed somewhere... but the amount of air that is blown OUT of this vacuum which includes the stuff it's supposed to pick up boggles me. Like I said, I could feel it spitting the grit out like grains of sand and hitting my bare feet. I've felt the same thing when using other vacuums though so maybe it's something I'm missing???

The other horrible part is that the on/off switch, instead of being conveniently located where your thumb rests on the handle, is down lower. So when the vacuum grabs something it shoudn't (ie. power cords) and you scramble to turn it off before it does irrepariable damage, you automatically hit the switch where your thumb is, that being the turbo button and have to reach lower to turn it off. The hush button is useless, the vacuum is the loudest piece of equipment ever. Just about completely useless.
