Weaknesses: Discharges quickly (within 24-48 hours, even with little use) compared to other phones I've had. This is consistent with the battery that came with the phone, and probably a fault of the phone itself. Summary: When I realized how quickly the battery discharges on my new Motorola V551, I decided it was imperative that I purchase a second battery and a desktop charger. This way, I can charge one battery while the other powers the phone. Doing so is much more convenient than constantly plugging the phone into a wall or car charger, and an aftermarket desktop charger can be purchased on-line for only a few dollars. 80% of People (4/5) found this review helpful. Strengths: Replaced dead battery Weaknesses: None Summary: After about 1.5 years my V400 battery at full charge would last about 10 minutes of talk time. I ordered this battery as replacement and now I'm charging about once every 3 days. If you purchase, I suggest initially doing a full charge and full discharge about 3 times (even though Li Ion aren't supposed to have memory like the Cadmium did.) 0% of People (0/1) found this review helpful.
