Strengths: Speed, Price, Reliability
Weaknesses: None
Summary: After running through about 3500 shots from DRebel I can truly say that these cards are much faster than my previous standard, the Lexar Pro 40x cards. The DRebel does much better writing RAW files with these cards and my computer software is much more stable and faster with these cards as well. I've owned a few Fuji's before and these honestly are junk. I get at least 3 corrupted files from each and every 256mb card. The Lexar will throw in some garbage files as well every now and again but not nearly as bad. So far, after this high volume running through the Kingston's no corrupted files yet. If you're looking for a fast, reliable, and good value compact flash card look no further, these are great. I'm a Kingston believer and from now on there will be nothing else for me. Try these!

Summary: Best deal going for the price - plus a $20 rebate on the Kingston 1GB CF card. Does everything it's supposed to do and more...will buy from Zipzoomfly again. Thanks.

Strengths: Fast speed and large volume.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: Great value. Got it for my camera to replace an old version card. Definitely an awesome value - you really can't beat that - and it's a great card - super fast and reliable. Can hold hunderds of pictures in highest resolution.

Strengths: Fast, Affordable, large capacity
Weaknesses: Not the fastest
Summary: Purchsed the 1 Gb Cf card for my digital camera b/c I was tired of the lag time when I took pictures. When I popped the card in and started taking pictures I was very impressed with the speed of the card. I still believe the card could be faster but for the price ($50.00 AR) I think it is definately worth it.

Strengths: Fast and reliable..the LOWEST price "fast card" out there..Lifetime warranty
Weaknesses: Not quite as fast as a couple of competitors.
Summary: The cost value factor wins "HANDS DOWN"..I bought two of these with a $20.00 rebate on each, giving me 2GB total @ $.05/MB!!..I notice NO REAL difference in actual use of these cards in my NIKON D70 compared to a 1GB SANDISK ULTRAII, and a LEXAR 80X which had a cost factor of closer to $.10/MB...

Strengths: Great speed for the price.
Weaknesses: None yet.
Summary: I only just received my Kingston Elite Pro 1 GB CompactFlash card, but I immediately ran it through a quick side-by-side test with my Lexar 1 GB 80X CompactFlash card, and the Kingston card performed well in comparison. I am using both cards in my Canon Digital Rebel (300D).
In my tests, there really wasn't a noticeable difference between the two cards. The Lexar card may have performed a fraction of a second better, but the difference seemed to be within the margin of error of my observations as I was timing the two cards with my watch. The fact that the Kingston card is 70% of the price of the Lexar card (even before the $20 rebate that I will receive) leads me to rate the Kingston card 5 stars.
In my test I took four pictures and timed how long it took my Digital Rebel to write out 4 Large Fine JPEG photos to each card. In my test, the Kingston card consistently took 12 seconds from the time I first pressed the shutter to the time the card status light went out. I timed the Lexar card at 12 seconds twice and at 11 seconds twice. This is similar to a test performed by Rob Galbraith (www.robgalbraith.com)where he found that the Lexar card write speed was 1.338 MB/sec, the fastest of the 1 GB cards he tested, with the Kingston card close behind at 1.214 MB/sec.
I also tested how long it took to write 12 photos, and both cards seemed to take about 38 to 39 seconds from the time I first pressed the shutter.

Strengths: speed, size, excellent price
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I purchased this card for use in my digital SLR camera. I wanted the speed due to the large size of the pictures and the amount of pictures I would be taking. It performs very well and for the price was an excellent buy. I would definitely purchase this again.

Strengths: Good price, fast, and enough storage for a whole day trip.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I have this for 2 days and I love it. I don't have to swap the memory every hour as I used to with 128MB and 256MB cards. The price is better than the Sandisk II and the read/write speed is fast (10x compare to what I have with the normal Lexar 256MB card).

Strengths: Good amount of storage; fast data transfer; inexpensive.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: This Kingston 1 GB CF card has the lowest retail price of any of pro-style CF cards presently on the market. Add to that the increased speed of the card, as well as great compatability (no problems in my Canon Digital EOS Rebel), and the card is the perfect buy.

Strengths: Good speed and power saving.
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: I have owned this item for a month and used many times. The speed when copying the images to computers is much faster than the nomal ones. And my power can last longer than before because of its saving power technique. It costs the listed price.

Summary: 2004-12-23 13:40:22 I just received my Kingston 1 GB Elite Pro Compact Flash Card two days ago and have been using it practically nonstop since. I've taken about forty hi-res digital photos so far, and there's still plenty of room for more. I've never purchased any Kingston products before, but their brand came highly recommended to me. And based on my experices thus far with the compact flash card, I'm glad I took that recommendation and purchased the product.

Strengths: Fast.
Weaknesses: It is probably not as fast as the Sandisk Ultra II.
Summary: This Compact Flash 1GB card is ideal for PDA's and digicams. It is fast. (It is probably not as fast as the Sandisk Ultra II, however). It is relatively inexpensive. I would definitely purchase it again. It comes with a Life time warranty from Kingston, a highly regarded memory manufacturer.
