Summary: If you're looking for a Memory Stick PRO for your camera or PDA, you must get a high-speed version like this one! Sony makes a Memory Stick PRO High-Speed version as well, but this SanDisk works just as well and costs less. Note that SanDisk AND Sony teamed up to create the Memory Stick PRO standard, so there really shouldn't be any difference in performance or quality between the two.
I use this card in my Sony DSC-P100 camera. The read/write speed difference between this product and the original Memory Stick is shocking. A 5MP photo took about 4-5 seconds to write to the original Memory Stick, and it now takes about 0.5 second with this MS Pro Ultra II! No more waiting to snap the next photo before the previous photo is written to memory. Check with Sony to see if your device supports the High-Speed variety of Memory Stick PRO. The Memory Stick PRO specification is rated up to 20MB/sec, so most MS Pro-complaint devices should take advantage of this high-speed version.

Strengths: Read/write time is remarkably fast.
Weaknesses: None found thus far.
Summary: Card performed perfectly once I managed to get it out of its excessive plastic packaging. Read and write times are very fast, and there have been no apparent errors. I see no reason to favor the brand-name Sony storage products over this one.

Summary: Comparing to Sony brand, Sandisk has absolutely no quality difference. the only difference is the price.
Sandisk Memory Sticks are almost %40 cheaper than Sony brand.

Strengths: It has a lot of room for pictures. It also seems to write the pictures to disk faster.
Weaknesses: Different web sites claim that a 512mb card should hold closer to 204 pics for a 5 mega pixel camera but it only holds 194.
Summary: This was a great deal to me. It holds a lot more pictures than my old 64 MB card. As I said above it also seemed to write to disk faster too. The fact that it only holds 194 pictures for our camera isn't really a weakness. That is still a lot of pictures. I just thought there would be more pictures available like other web sites have said. Overall it works great and I would recommend it to all my friends and family. Not too big and not too small. Perfect!

Summary: I bought this memory stick pro card along with SOny DSC S60. it is really work great. I feel no shutter lag when I take pictures with this card. And the price is also much cheaper than Sony. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to buy a memory stick pro.

Summary: Sandisk 512MB Ultra II Memory Stick Pro Card can be a very good choice for somebody who look for memory stick for PDA or digital camera. Transfering speed is very fast and it is a solid performer. Highly recommended!!

Weaknesses: Not as fast as advertised. Actual avg. write speed is 4 MB/s and NOT 9 MB/s
Summary: 2005-08-16 16:25:15 Used it for a little over 1 month and it works great except the speed is not as fast as advertised. Actual avg. write speed is 4 MB/s and NOT 9 MB/s. Read speed is at an avg. of 5.8 MB/s.
Test is done on a computer via USB 2.0 port. Point and shoot with 5.0 MP camera will gain a little performance increase when shooting, well, very little because the bottle neck is usually at the time for the camera to focus. Review photos on the camera will be much faster.
Conclusion: It is the fastest memory stick for the current price from Buy.com or Newegg.com. I paid $61.00 + free shipping - $35.00 buy.com New Visa credit.

Strengths: much faster speed than regular memory stick
Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: The meomory stick is being used with a sonyDSC-S40 Digital camera. The write speed is significantly faster than the regular memory stick that we had been using. Newegg took our order and promptly shipped as agreed. The Sandisk memory stick is significantly less expensive than the Sony brand.

Strengths: Ultra Hi-Speed, cheaper than Sony brand sticks.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I have used this with my Sony P200 and it works like a charm. I'm not sure if the ultra is totally necessary for this camera to function optimally, but it can't hurt. I have purchased other Sandisk memory sticks in the past and they are outstanding as well. Of course, you can't beat the price of the Sandisk compared to Sony brand sticks, when they're essentially the same thing.
