Strengths: Very simple to use, fairly good size, small file sizes
Weaknesses: No optical zoom, only auto modes (exception: custom exposure compensation), video mode not great
Summary: This is a great first digital camera for people that want a taste of what there is out there or that want to be able to click the button and take a good picture. The pictures come out consistently clear and pretty sharp, and the colors are great. Red-eye is a fairly minor problem, and the EasyShare software (bundled with camera) cleans it up well.
Like all of the EasyShare series, it has an album feature, a protection feature (so the picture is not deleted), and a favorite-tag feature. There is also a date stamp available for pictures. After I took a great picture and the date covered up a point of interest, I prefer to add the date with software. The date is stored in the picture file itself, anyway.
There is an optical viewfinder (for the people that have used a camera before and prefer it) and also an LCD screen so you can see what your picture will look like. I use both, alternately.
You can review the pictures directly on the camera and delete non-sequentially (e.g. 4th picture and leave the rest; my first digital camera only allowed me to delete the last picture).
The 3 megapixels are quite sufficient for most pictures. There are smaller resolutions available. It gets about 20-25 pictures on the highest settings, but I have a 128MB SD card and the number goes straight up to 200.
I don't have many problems with it myself. There is a 3x digital zoom; I wish there was at least some optical zoom. On all cameras, digital zoom is bad, in theory and practice, and any zoom in such a way can be done with the software by cropping the picture. I also would have liked an action mode / fast shutter speed mode. The batteries drain really fast when I have the LCD on (it can be turned off), but that's typical of all cameras. The video mode is also not very good, and there is no sound. I also never use the album or favorites features; I do these with the EasyShare software.
Get this camera if you want to be able to just whip it out and take a picture without messing around, or if you want to begin using digital cameras and feel safer with a lower-cost, low-feature option. However, if you need any zoom or a video mode with sound, look elsewhere.

Strengths: extremely small and portable, good quality pictures, pretty good battery life (using nihm rechargeable).
Weaknesses: video has no sound. Not many scene modes or options. Would be nice if the AC adapter was included.
Summary: I bought this camera for my daughter since she's going to travel alot. So far, the camera seems to work very well. I've taken about 50 pictures online and so far no problems. The pictures appear clear, the color crisp. I would highly recommend this camera to any beginner!

Strengths: Good value for the money. Easy to use. Produces good quality pictures. Included software helps to easily edit photos.
Weaknesses: Does not have a lens cover and does not come with AC adapter.
Summary: This camera is great for the amateur photographer. Pictures are easily edited (removing red eyes and adjusting brightness). I added a 512MB SD card and the camera memory can now hold over 600 pictures at 3MP. Cannot beat the quality for the money, I highly recommend this camera!

Strengths: Well built/Feels durable, picture quality is excellent, price is great.
Weaknesses: Not the best quality but close, lacking in customization options.
Summary: I must say that this is an EXCELLENT camera for the price... so don't let the price lead you to think that it produces cheap quality pictures, because that's no where near the truth. Of course it isn't perfect but it's close and for ~$99.99 it's quality is beyond other camera's at this price.
Overall I highly highly recommend this product to just about anyone who is either wanting a first digital camera and don't want to go overboard on the price or someone who just wants a camera at a good price.

Strengths: Easy to use, Light weight, Only needs 2 AA Batteries
Weaknesses: NO POUCH,
Summary: Great camera for the money. Easy to use, good quality of photos. Good proformance of the cameras features viewing my photo and saving them are all easy to do. Use the proper rechargable batteries and you will get great life and use out of this camera. At a very afordable price.

Summary: I bought this camera for my brother in China. So far, the camera seems to work very well. He've taken about 200 pictures and so far no problems. The pictures appear beautiful, the color very good. I would recommend this camera to any beginner.

Strengths: For the price, the megapixel quality is excellent. The camera is easy to use even for someone inexperienced with the technology. In addition the camera is very light.
Weaknesses: This camera doesn't have alot of features (i.e. wide zoom, landscape shots, etc.) and the video doesn't come with sound which you can hear via the camera so far as I can see.
Summary: I would recommend this camera for people not planning to do alot of fancy photography, but it ia a great replacement for the tradiitonal 35mm cameras of old. It is easy to download the pictures even without the camera dock and it eliminates the need to keep buying film it you purchase a decent size SD card.

Strengths: its easy to use, light weight and the pictures come out clear and sharp.
Weaknesses: it doesnt have the ac adapter and there is not sound in for the video clips.
Summary: I baught this camera to take pictures of our new baby and I'm very happy with the pictures its taken so far. I would recomend this camera to anyone who is looking for a simple, easy to use, and good camera that isnt too expensive.

Strengths: This camera is an excellent value for the money. It has a very clear and bright view screen and fairly easy controls.
Weaknesses: An ac adaptor for a little more money would have been a nice addition to the package so that you could save your batteries while down loading
Summary: This is my second digital camera purchased my first was a 1.3 megapixel so this is quite an improvement.The picture sharing is a good feature and the 16 mb internal storage is very good even though I still purchased a 128 mb card for extra storage. It is so cheap now you're talking 100 pictures extra, just be sure to carry an extra set of batteries with you.Over all I think it is an exellent buy .

Strengths: Good megapixel, quality pictures, small size, room for memory card, easy to use and download
Weaknesses: No optical zoom
Summary: We have already used this camera quite a bit and are very impressed at the quality of the pictures. It is very user friendly and easy to use. For the price, it's the best camera we've found. We looked at a camera twice the price of this one but it was much more complicated and didn't take any better pictures. I would definitely buy this camera again. The only thing that could make it better would be an optical zoom.

 I bought this Camera on Black Friday, to use as a ... Strengths: Outdoor picture quality, a few pre-programmed shooting modes, relatively inexpensive!
Weaknesses: Indoor picture quality, No Optical Zoom, no manual controls, cheap plastic feel!
Summary: I bought this Camera on Black Friday, to use as a backup camera. I also needed a smaller Camera since my primary Camera is the Sony CD-Mavica, and it is pretty big to carry around in a pocket. This one also wont fit in your shirt or trouser pockets, but does fit well into a jacket pocket.
While the picture outside in the sunlight was pretty good, pictures taken inside would always seem grainy, even in a lighted room, and when the flash was used!

 Only take pictures to 3m ... farder or nearer they ... Strengths: Have a good sensor when you use it at the distance of focus.
Weaknesses: It doesn't have an Auto Focus system. So a $100 camera without focus is very expensive. Exactly like a detachable camera in that aspect.
Summary: Only take pictures to 3m ... farder or nearer they will look out of focus because it has a fixed focus. Don't try a close up, you will get nothing.
