Strengths: Easy cleaning access, well known brand, quality cooking results.
Weaknesses: Price standardization, all or nothing i.e. either gas or charcoal hybrid>>>????
Summary: 2006-07-27 10:35:42 I selected this grill, because I've been a weber owner for many years and have been happy with my food. I like this one, because I had a choice of colors and also, because I'm familiar with the product. Many of my neighbors have large gas grills on their decks or patios that seem to be idle most of the time. I use my charcoal grill regularly, especially during spring and summer and enjoy the smoky flavor and not heating up the kitchen with the oven. I also like this particular one, because I can regulate the heat pretty well and the ash catcher makes cleanup a breeze. I love cooking all types of food on my grill. It's a keeper and I also like the cookbook and recipes that came with it and will use them to perfect my queing experience.

Strengths: Classic style, sturdy, easy to use
Weaknesses: Price
Summary: The Weber one touch gold grill is a great grill for the novice and expert griller. The pce may be a bit high but this grill is worth the extra money if you grill often.

Strengths: Classic design, looks great in any patio, easy cleanup, superb heat control, and the ability to get really high heat (and smoke) if you need it, real barbeque flavor.
Weaknesses: You have to wait to get the coals just right - probably have to sip another drink or munch an extra appetizer.
Summary: When you learn the different amounts (and types) of charcoal to use and the perfect time for your favorite meats and fish, you can put the cover on and let the grill do its magic. No flareups to mess with and the results are so consistent, you feel like a master chef. Of course this means you have to experiment with different methods of searing, smoking and timing, but with this grill - it is all good.
