Strengths: Compact size, lightweight
Weaknesses: May not fit all items that you want to take with you.
Summary: I wanted to find a small backpack style camera bag for my new SLR, and this one fit the bill. I ordered this online (sight unseen, except for the pictures), and was a little surprised when it arrived... it was pretty small. But, it's nice and lightweight, and has comfortable straps, and stays put on my back (doesn't flop around from side to side). Sometimes, I even forgot I had it on. It appears to be well constructed, has several dividers that can be removed or reconfigured as needed, and nice mesh pockets on the outside for quick access to smaller items (e.g. While on a recent trip, I found these pockets were a convenient place to store a sunglass case, lip balm and a pen...things I needed to use frequently - or, I could put a filter case in each pocket). The handle on the top is also comfortable more so than just a common strap). However, with a small size comes limited space to carry items. I only have two lenses (longest 150mm), and it fits them as well as a few other small accessories (a few filters, cleaning kit, charger, cables and my mini point and shoot camera). I didn't have the hood on (though I haven't tried). It will likely fit if I remove one divider. The zipper was a little difficult to open and close at first, but after using it for a few days, it started to move quite nicely. It's easy to unzip, pull out the camera, and slide it back in the bag when I'm done. This is a great case for my needs, but I am a beginner to the SLR world, so I don't have many accessories yet. If you need to carry a long lens, you may need to go up to the next size.
