Strengths: Sturdy, realistic, life-size pieces. At our house, hundreds of sandwiches have been made and served.
Weaknesses: The cheese looks almost too real. After four years of play, the lettuce is starting to tear up.
Summary: Our twins received this when they were almost three. They immediately loved it and played with it daily. They've just turned six and they still play with it often. The years have taken their toll on the cheese, meat and lettuce. These are made with a softer, floppier, more realistic material. The lettuce has torn. The cheese and meat are stained. It's all still used, though. I buy this frequently as a birthday present and always get positive comments from other parents. I think it's great for girls and boys. There's a slightly more expensive set available that comes in a shopping basket with a play drink as well.
