Strengths: Everything
Weaknesses: The color, but who cares.
Summary: Alright, I have been through three routers already, and none of them come close to this router. First of all, it is extremely fast even for g level of reception. The connection was very easy; although, it you need to unplug your cable modem before you hook it up, otherwise your new router will not notice it, minor. It does not drop connections, it does stop downloads in the middle of a download. I have a desktop, a wii, and a laptop connected to it, and at one point all three are using it, and I cannot notice the difference in download speed. A lot of the other routers out there, have problems staying connected to my internal card on my laptop. Not this one, although every once in a blue moon it might reset. I don't know if its resetting or my computer is telling me that I am connected to the router, but there is no break in service. I recommend this router over others. I am still thinking about getting a n-draft card for my laptop, but for the speeds I have with my g card internal, what is the point. I recommend.

Strengths: Great Range, great speed, great price, JUST WORKS.
Weaknesses: Produces a lot of light, kind of ugly.
Summary: What more can I say? I find it odd that the cheapest Wireless N router on the market is infact the best available, but its true. It works like a charm, just plug it in, use the CD to get everything going, and everything works like a charm. The range is excellent- I am in a house with multiple wireless signals, and mine is the only one that makes it all the way from the top floor all the way to the basement. The signal, does lessen signficantly when you move further than ~10 feet from the device, but it still outdoes any wireless G router. close by, it gets as much as 270 Mbps. One thing I've noticed is that it actually works better on tri-band bond (N,G,B) instead of trying to limit it to just N.
Only downside is aethestics. Its a purplish blue color, which isn't very attractive, and a little label that says WIRELESS ROUTER is brightly lit, not great when I want a completely dark room to sleep in. But otherwise, I couldn't be happier with this router, and I highly recommend it (especially when you can use a $30 rebate).
(by the way, I use Vista 32 bit.)

Strengths: Speed, Range, Price, Qos, Great security.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: 2008-04-06 11:59:00 I haven't had to reset this once. Worked right out of the box. Since then I've Updated the firmware and set up security. I didn't use the installation CD so I don't know what that's like. I'm using this with the TEW-623PI in my desktop getting a solid 270 Mbps. I have Intel N cards in my laptops and get a steady 130 Mbps with those.

Weaknesses: None.
Summary: The router is very easy to set-up. It took about 5 minutes to get everything ready and the dsl up and running. Been using the router for over a month and no problems. Able to run an older wireless card at 54mps without a hiccup. Don't be afrain of this N router.

Strengths: easy to set-up; replaces both wired router and WAP (in my case); good software interface and has good security options; seems to have strong signal.
Weaknesses: None so far :-)
Summary: I purchased this wireless router to replace an older Linksys BEFSR14 and also a WAP device. I had been experiencing very sluggish internet speeds and determined it was the old Linksys router going bad. I stumbled across a good deal on this TrendNet Wireless-N combo-router and my internet speeds are now flying again. The wired connections are much faster than the old Linksys router (which was failing), and the wireless speeds seem pretty good too. Very easy to set up with the software that comes with the unit. It has been running strong for nearly 2 weeks without NO issues or reboots necessary!

Strengths: Easy setup, long range, and very stable
Weaknesses: None that I have come across
Summary: I bought this product to replace a D-link router that I used for over two years. The difference between these two unit is simply amazing. The Trendnet has much better range and security options , also drop outs have been eliminated .I would recommend this product to any one ready to upgrade to an N system. there's no better deal for the money.

Strengths: Price - very affordable as of 09/10/07,
Range - long, solid range,
Router Config - Menu is solid and filled with easy to use features
Weaknesses: Ugly - blue, ugly and industrial in colour and form,
Design of antennas & location
Summary: This is truly a great router - and for the price, it puts a lot of competition on the DIR-655 which retails for over 80 dollars more (since this router can be had for 40$ after rebate)
Compared to my old Pre-N router from Belkin, the range is better and the connections are not dropped as much. The router is far smaller and lighter than previous models. I actually get full 144 Mbps with my Intel 4965ABGN mini-PCI card. My Pre-N Belkin gave me 54Mbps at best.
Perhaps the only real problem is that it's dead ugly. The blue industrial form is an eyesore, but if you hide it, it isn't much of a problem. The design of the antennas are kind of awkward, seeing that they are on the same side as the cat5 ports are on. It's really not that big of a deal, but makes hiding the blue color harder to do while maintaining range.
This router meets the draft 2.0 spec which will roll over into pure 802.11n next year. Firmware is frequently updated, unlike Belkin and Netgear models. (Although D-Link is also good about this). The router config menu is easy to use, fast to respond and filled with great features including WISH, QoS, STREAM, and of course, all the basics we all come to expect for wireless networking at home.
I highly recommend this router, but only if positioning it will not affect your aesthetics!

Strengths: Unbelievable feature set
Great range
Great throughput
Weaknesses: slow-to-respond tech support
Summary: 2007-12-06 05:51:58 Even with the older 802.11g builtin wireless, my laptop range and throughput both doubled with this router over my 802.11g router. I also tried the awful pre-n router from linksys and so-so "rangemax" router from netgear. This Trendnet is unbelievable. It has every feature I've ever wanted too, from WDS to Dyndns to configurable QoS. I'm very happy!
NOTE: There are now THREEE hardware versions. Make sure you get the latest firmware you can for whichever one you have. No real differences among them except that they did improve the antennas a bit in newer revs.

Fraud MIR Add
Strengths: Normal
Weaknesses: Fraud MIR add
Summary: I bought this router with 25 MIR. They refused MIR without any valid reason. They have given the reason that the purchase date is not in specific period. But the reason they gave was totally wrong. So i suggest don't go for any MIR for this brand.

Strengths: Good speed and range
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Following the simple instructions contained on the included CD, installation was quick. Previously experienced fast internet connection speeds (7500/525kbps) were likewise seen both on my PC wired to the router as well as via wifi on my Dell vostro 1500 laptop which I had set up on outdoors on my covered patio table. The signal strength was more than adequate despite having to pass through several interior drywalls and the exterior brickwall.

Strengths: speed, design, simplicity, smaller size
Weaknesses: none
Summary: This is a good value for a solid product. I've been thru a few routers incl the so-called 'range-max/boosters' but why settle for less? The new N standard blows the previous away on range and speed. And I think the looks are fine - it's unique, unlike the more industrial looking routers out there.

Strengths: Works as stated, Up and running in minutes. Router is reliable with no problems. Connects to my network thru at least 5 walls with a great signal.
Weaknesses: Missing one ethernet cable in the box. It was supposed to come with two. I had a extra, and I chose to use this anyway, because the one supplied was too short.
Summary: I purchased the Trendnet Tew-631brp with some reservation, due to the other reviews I read. I bought it as the rebate price was great and I wanted a wireless N router. It has worked flawlessly for me. The setup was easy to understand and smooth. I connected to my Network without a hitch. I was able to secure my wireless network with the lastest Technology. This router has a lot of features like a stream engine for gaming.
