Strengths: High Contrast Ratio.
Very good shadow details.
Film Like, smooth, 3-d look of projected image.
Good color right out of the box.
Weaknesses: Brightness - needs a light contolled room.
Summary: I believe this is one of the best projector you can buy under $10K.(and check out the street price of this projector at Price Grabber.com. It's well under half of $10K)
High resolution, 1080P(1920x1080) is ready for true HD and latest tech such as Blu-ray & HD-DVD.
It accepts 2 HDMI and bunch of other input so it is future proof.
However, it is not the brightest projector so in order to get the best picture out of this unit, you will need dark, light controlled room or high gain screen.
If your home theater is set up correctly, this unit will give you amazing, very realistic picture.
