Good effects but overall kind of mediocre
Strengths: Sturdy design, good looking case. Good effects. The ability to turn effects on and off inside a pre-set is nice.
Weaknesses: The wah/volume pedal is hard to turn on and off. The unit volume fluctuates within the pre-sets.
Summary: The Floor POD is a generally OK product. The effects sound nice, better than the built in effects on my amp. The wah/volume pedal takes a little getting use to turning it on and off. Once you find the sounds you like and get them set within a preset, turning the effects on and off is pretty easy using the foot switches. However, because some of the effects are combined under the same knobs, you are limited in the combinations of effects you can use. The flashing tap light is also a bit annoying if you happen to look down at the pedal while you are playing, it tends to throw my timing off. Lastly, the volume on this thing fluctuates quite a bit. When you first turn it on, it is pretty loud but then within a few seconds, or the first time you touch the volume pedal, it gets at least 20db softer and then you have to go back and adjust your amp volume. For $200 though, I think Line6 could have done a better job with this pedal.
