Strengths: Battery backup, easy to use interface, sparkling clean power, PC hookup for monitoring.
Weaknesses: Heavy (on account of the battery), Cost
Summary: Honestly I bought the power cleaner/surge supressor/battery backup primarily to protect the large investment I had already made, but I never expected it to improve the home theater quality that much. Almost immediately I noticed improved audio (feels more like a live soundstage), and the video looked more crisp. I don't have a hi-definition monitor, so I suspect the affect there would be even more apparent, but that's only speculation. I've listed cost as a weakness, but I'd honestly rather spend a couple of hundred bucks now versus thousands later to replace valuable equipment. I hope to give my home theater and the battery backup a full workout tomorrow, but so far it's great. I've already noticed that when my TV and receiver turn on at the same time they are quite power hungry and the battery kicks in for a moment. Without the battery untold damage could be occurring to the electronics in either device.
