Strengths: 12" woofer, 3way design, 98dB sensitivity, price, large

Summary: I purchased these speakers based on previous experience with Cerwin Vega speakers. They are one of the few companies that still offer 3ways with 12" woofers at this price. I primarily use them for home theater and games. They lack some of the punch of vintage vegas, but they make it up in midrange and highs not heard on some vegas. At high levels with demanding DVDs the tweeters do crack a little, but this may be my receiver, and it does not happen often. They give the "big movie" sound. I would buy again or consider the CV E-712.
