Coby CX CD375 Micro CD Stereo System
Strengths: It looks pretty cool but does not work well enough to be considered a good purchase
Weaknesses: CD's stop playing, disk speed changes when playing causing the play to cut in & out.
Summary: Amazingly problems started just about after 3 months of use! Customer NO service told me, "out of warranty, take it to an electronics shop for repair"!
Do NOT spend your dollars on this product & I suspect the Coby Manufacturing Company has a real problem making a quality product that works well, buy from a more reputable manufacturer!

Coby CD System
Strengths: Compact. Easy to set-up. Crisp and clear sound. Value.
Weaknesses: Not a home theater system.
Summary: Freebie with a tv purchase. A nice, compact stereo system. Perfect for a small living room, office or child's bedroom. Sound will not shatter windows or carry throughout the home. For value, it's fine.

good sound for the price but didn't last very long
Strengths: cool looks, good sound for its price
Weaknesses: weird remote; durability
Summary: The remote is cumbersome and unreliable - some buttons stopped working after just a few months. Otherwise, the system worked fine for a couple years then for no apparent reason the CD motor just failed and never came back.

Strengths: cool looking, remote control included
Weaknesses: No mp3 function
Summary: The coby cd player has a cool looking and the sound is decent. It also comes with a remote control for cd playing (not for radio tuning). The only thing I am not satisfied is it is unable to play mp3, wma etc popular format music. It only supports CD.

Coby Micro Stereo System
Strengths: Compact, inexpensive
Weaknesses: radio has manual tuning
Summary: The Coby Micro stero system is a nice, compact and good looking system that can either be desk mounted or hung on a wall.
I received this unit as a freebie from Office Depot and was surprised at how well it's been working. It doesn't have Earth shattering sound, but I doubt most buyers of a inexpensive little unit like this would expect that. It plays CD's quite well and the sound is good. The speakers put out well balanced sound at a good volume. It includes a remote that has good range and controls most of the CD functions.
This also includes a am-fm radio. It has good reception but only manual tuning.
Don't expect this to replace your Bose, but for a cheap stereo for casual listening, I find it to be quite satisfactory.

Strengths: NA
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: I didn't expect much when I bought this system for my daugher, but was pleasantly surprised when I took it out of the box. All worked well, and it looked kinda cool. Well worth the few dollars I paid for it.

Coby Sound System
Strengths: -Remote Included
-Design
Weaknesses: -Sound quality not great
Summary: I got this product for free as part of a promotion, so that will obviously affect my perception of it, but so far I am pleased with it. I've used Coby products in the past and have had varying success rates with them. The quality on this isn't great, but it works most of the time and has played all cd's I've put in it so far.The remote was a nice touch as well.

Pretty good cd player
Strengths: Sound quality
Weaknesses: Actual size and mobility
Summary: The sound quality is pretty good for a simple cd player like that. Apperance is elegant, and you got a remote control. The speaker is way more better than other cheap brand. Surely you should not expect too great bass effect from this set. But for regular music fun, this is enough. Besides, it rarely rejects any CD, as my other player does.

poor qulaity product
Strengths: compact
Weaknesses: sonund quality, manual
Summary: Got it as freebie in OD. Contrary to another reviewer. Not expect good sound quality. the manual neglects to include any instructions at all for connecting the speakers. The ends of the speaker wires are bare wire with no plugs, so you can't tell which wire in each pair is positive and which is negative. I seem to recall from hooking up an old stereo that the wire with the stripe is positive, so that's how I hooked up the speakers for this unit. If the sound quality is poor for you, you might try checking how the speakers are connected. The radio/CD selection is controled only by a switch on the top of the unit, not on the remote. So, if the switch is set to radio, the remote can only turn on or off the device. If the switch is set to CD, then the remote allows full control of the CD player. I find it annoying that I can't use the remote to switch between CD and radio or to tune the radio. If I had known that before I bought the unit, I wouldn't have bought it. I don't use it enough that it's a big problem. Not complain to much for it considering it's a freebie.

Strengths: Cute sleek design
Weaknesses: Sound quality
Summary: Of course the sound quality could be better but for the price it isn't bad. If you want a top notch sound than you will need to spend more money. I personally am happy with this purchase as it was meant for the kids playroom in the basement. It is a great value for the price and if it breaks due to mishandling than so be it. It seems to be holding up well under the smaller hands and they are having a blast playing all their kids cd sets. I would recommend this to any parent who wants to purchase a stereo system for their youngsters.

COBY CXCD375 Micro Stereo Sound Mini System Review
Strengths: Little cute machine
Weaknesses: don't expect much sound quality from this.
Summary: This is a little cute machine and well worth the money, if you actually spend any money on it. The sound quality is ok. I just left it in the corner of my work place and have the FM on all day long, pretty nice.
