Strengths: The sound quality of this DVD player is among the very best put out. It also includes optical or coax audio and composite or standard or S-video output. That is not included on all players.
Weaknesses: Does not play MP3's.
Summary: This DVD player is an excellent choice. Anyone who is buying a $89.00 DVD does not understand why they are buying a DVD player. And, anyone who does any comparative shopping will see that this has excellent features and quality components. Also, the sound processing quality surpasses most players which cost twice as much. I have not really been a fan of Pioneer in the past but I have compared this to others in my home and against some of my friends and family's and still think it is one of the best priced and feature rich players.
