Made for sound and not much else
Strengths: Nice clear sound, good bass response, seperate volume controls for each ear, stretching coil
Weaknesses: Only comfortable for a short period, sound bleeds in/out, hard to equalize volume (for both ears), doesn't fold up, coil pulls on headphones
Summary: I bought these based on the fact that most people said they sounded good. Well, the headphones do sound good and I was surprised how well they respond to low frequencies. If I put on headphones I like to keep them on for a long period of time, these are not good for that. After about 20 minutes, unless you have small ears I suppose, your ears will really hurt. I also imagine if you have a big head then these won't work for you. My headphones are adjusted to the maximum size but it isn't initially uncomfortable to wear. Everything else I'm going to mention is kind of petty, so no need to keep reading if you only wonder about sound and comfort.
My last pair of headphones were great. First, they folded down and didn't take up so much space. Second, they didn't allow for any sound to bleed out (and pretty much bleed in). Which is good if you want to listen to your music at maximum volume and still not disturb anyone. The volume knobs on here are a good idea, but that kind of feature is mostly useful for DJs, and there are headphones specially made for that. If you're going to use the volume knob on the headphones you have to remember that they are seperate so it's hard to keep the volume equal on each side. Number labels would have helped with this. The coil for the cord sounded like a good idea at first, but up to a certain point the coil will pull on the headphones (and pretty much pull them off your head). So from the relaxed state I don't think you can get more than an extra two feet of length before it starts to pull away.
