Strengths: Size and weight. Upgradeable RAM.
Weaknesses: Slower (1.0 GHz), no airport extreme built-in or combo drive.
Summary: A bit slower than the 1.2 GHz and this ibook may lack the built-in airport extreme card for wireless connectivity, but it 's still a very acceptable laptop and cheaper by about $200. Perfect for the casual home user or college student that doesn't require more than internet access and word processing.

2 Star ReviewMeh
Strengths: easy to use keyboard, clear visuals, easy to navigate
Weaknesses: conks out in short order
Summary: I absolutely loved my iBook G4 for the first two and a half year I had it. I never had any problems at all, and for someone who is practically computer illiterate, they sure make navigating the system a breeze. The only problem is that after about two and a half years, I began having problems that would not go away. It started with only being able to have one application up at a time without the computer crashing, and went from there. About six months after this started, the computer suddenly and unexplainedly shut down... and never turned on again. For the price that you have to pay for these, two and a half years is a rediculously short amount of time for it to be functioning properly.
