Thermos style container kept coffee hot, without hot pad. This we really liked. Weaknesses: Clogged easily. Tied using a paper filter a couple of times and clogged everytime. Went back to supplied filter and same thing. Did not work as advertised. Summary: Even when we could get it to brew and not over run, we would have to wait for it to completely brew and fill the thermos otherwise if we removed it, the filter area would keep pouring coffee. It was just a mess and we got tired of cleaning up the coffee spill and attempting to make another pot of coffee. 100% of People (8/8) found this review helpful. akadude Member Since: Jan 2006 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 1 Year	Poorly designed coffee maker Strengths: Good looking, stainless carafe, auto shut off, timer. Weaknesses: does not like to put the coffee in the carafe, lid of carafe it diffifult to twist off, coffee is not as hot as I would like. Summary: Regardless of how you position the carafe under the filter, the darn thing wont drip into the carafe, or it will drip so slowly its cold by the time its done. I don't think the problem with mine is clogging. When I pull the filter out, there are no grounds in the hole, and water runs through it just fine. I think the problem is with the triggering lever the carafe is supposed to make contact with to release the coffee. I purchased this coffee maker to match other black and stainless delonghi products that I own, and it looks great, but I just want a hot freakin cup of coffee! Strengths: Stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee hot for a long time and it looks pretty on the counter. Weaknesses: I have to stand over it to make a pot of coffee because after 10 seconds it shuts itself off. Summary: This is the worst coffeemaker I have EVER had. I have tried to put the carafe in every imaginable way and it still turns off. It is such a pain in the behind. It is easier to stop at the gas station for a cup of coffee!!
