Strengths: nice receiver with many input and output options Weaknesses: speakers don't sound very good Summary: The output from the speakers was not as rich or dynamic as I had hoped and instead sounded quite flat. Strengths: Good price for a complete package where you own Yamaha "everything". Really good number of input pins makes me to input my computer,tv,dvd player,vcr, cable to input through this. Weaknesses: Not a great subwoofer quality, bit bulkier reciever for its functinality Summary: When I planned to buy a hometheatre for me the idea was to have a good hometheatre with a reciver (it was just reciever not a DVD player with a reciever since I heard lot about their shady functionality when it comes for the reciver functionality.). I had couple of brands in the price range of 300-350 dollars but when I went and checked the product in store and when I read the review about the Yamaha YHT-150 I was pretty much convinced that it is worth of a buy. 97% of People (30/31) found this review helpful. jjmai from CA Member Since: Sep 2005 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 8 Months	good sound quality for the price, nice looking hardware Strengths: Many input options, good sound for the $$$ Weaknesses: no front inputs, speakers could be better Summary: With all parts in one box, this home theater system is worth the money. The sound quality may not be the best, but is pretty good for its price. With 6 input sources, it should be just about right for everyday home uses. It comes with two optical and one coaxial connection for optional digital inputs. Make sure you do use the digital audio input for your DVD movies, it sounds much better than the red/white composites. The silver (instead of black) exterior also matches better with other newer A/V devices too. Too bad there's no connections on the front of the receiver, it would've made switching cables much easier.
