The looks are phenomenal (especially when you upload your own graphics), the sound quality is great (through my Alpine speakers), and the functionality is great too. Apparently Pioneer put a faster processor in this unit for dealing with mp3's and such, and it works, snappily displaying song titles as you go through them. The only thing that make it better is if it had included DVD functionality (which shouldn't have been hard to do for this price - shame on Pioneer for that). The best unit to own on the market today, buy it and you'll never want a different deck. It has GREAT visuals and screensavers, with great features such as downloading your own graphics to easy to work buttons. I would deffinitly recomend this item to anyone in the market for a cd player. It is one of the best, if not the best unit on the market today. You will fall in love with this unit from the moment you put it in your car. Great sound and lots of options. Weaknesses: Minor lag on MP3. Generates a lot of head when played at 13 and up. Can’t change the angle on the slide face. The clock is only available on one of the animated screen savers. Summary: But who cares… it’s a great unit. It does a whole lot for a reasonable price. It’s easy to use, but I find myself referring back to the instructions for guidance. Get an online PDF copy of the manual from Pioneer.com it’s easier the flipping pages.
