Strengths: Durable, light, great sound reproduction
Weaknesses: Still haven't found one yet
Summary: This is certainly the best gear you can have for playing PS2 Karaoke Games out there.
After comparing it with the USB Headset made for PS2 also, I feel that this microphone is far better than the Headset.
Not only that you will have a better feel when using (it's a karaoke microphone), it is durable, solid, and very light so you can sing for hours without getting your hands numb. It seems to me as a high-quality product and does not seem to be broken easily even if you throw it many times to the carpet.
It is actually quite small (smaller than those mic you use at the karaoke stations), but enough to give us a good grip to it.
The fifteen feet cord is very light but durable. It does not pull the microphone down when you are holding it, and its length is quite useful if you are playing with many people or standing as you sing.
The microphone reproduces our voice accurately to the PS2, and I have never experience any cutoff or connections problems.
Also, buying this thing does not seem to be a bad investment ; Konami always comes up with new Karaoke Revolutions games every year, and they are quite good. Konami improved the gameplay from game to game and added 35+ new songs per game (currently there are 3 volumes).
Unless you need a dual-purpose gear to play karaoke games and online first person shooter game (Logitech USB Headset), you should stick with the USB Mic for playing karaoke games.
