Strengths: Highly efficient design holds DVDs securely and safely with minimal space. Very durable and not prone to breaking like the thin plastic cases can.

Summary: I acquired my first DVD recorder a couple of months ago and knew I would be using it a lot. A storage solution was needed and I discovered these wonderful slim cases. I had started using the old thin plastic CD/DVD cases, but those lids tend to break very easily. These cases by Memorex are pliant enough to resist breaking yet rigid and durable enough to stand up to library use.
I recently ordered a multiple DVD set of a TV show and they were using the same thin cases, using half the room of the old type. A great idea.
