Strengths: Easy VPN setup for mulitple inbound connections. SSL encryption. Easy to setup for a non-IT professional
Weaknesses: Documentation could be better, but is adequate
Summary: I bought this for my small company (3 employees). We often telecommute (and one of us soley works from home), and I needed to be able to remotely login to my office desktop. We really just needed the VPN aspect for file sharing. I debated between switching to a dedicated server machine, but didn't want the hassels and the cost of the necessary IT support inherent, it seems, in a server. I found this on provantage, and thought it was worth a shot for $300 +/-. I could not be more pleased. Many built in applications that are so nice to have (ability to explore network drives without actually logging in to VPN. Handles mulitple connections seamlessly. Remote connect built in to hardware, functions seamlessly with windows remote login. I am so glad I chose this over a dedicated server. Easy to setup. Had to email netgear support once. They were very thourough in helping me work through my issue. We have been using it for about 8 months. I couldn't operate without it. No problems with it so far.
