Strengths: Works great. Compact, stylish, and good battery life.
Weaknesses: None found so far.
Summary: The GPSlim 240 Bluetooth GPS Receiver is a great device. I've been using it for approximately 2 months with my Blackberry Curve. The device paired easily with my phone and works flawlessly. I love the compact form factor, the stylish good looks, and the excellent battery life. So far I have found nothing to complain about the GPSlim 240. I would highly recommend that you consider the GPSlim 240 if you are looking at bluetooth GPS receivers.

Strengths: Sensitive, fast acqisition, long batery life
Weaknesses: NONE
Summary: This is a great device. The sensor is very sensitive. I usually leave the receiver in my glove box, it works perfectly fine. Can't be more happy with it. I own a Treo700. With built-in BlueTooth, the receiver gets recognized by my Treo in seconds. The GPS data transfer has been very smooth. Usually it takes the device only 15-60 seconds to acquire satellites, which is pretty impressive.

Strengths: Strong signal
Weaknesses: Connection gets lost
Summary: This gps unit is very impressive and accurate. The gps signal get locked on quick even during cloudy weather and stays locked on when you go into an underpass or tunnel. My only concern is that the bluetooth conection gets lost from time to time which is very inconvenient because I have to stop and connect it again to my computer. Other than that its great.

Strengths: Small, SiRF III, position fix is faster
Weaknesses: only 7 hrs battery life
Summary: Pairing was easy and it fixed the position in about less than a minute when switched on for the first time. Subsequent fix were faster about 20-30 seconds. It is small and you can easily carry, but at the same time you can misplace it too. I recommend to hook a lanyard! I use it with a Windows Mobile smartphone and pairing is easy. The step to create an outgoing COM port is missing in the guide but if you search around the net, you'll find it.

Strengths: Small, stylish, easy to use
Weaknesses: Non-replaceable battery
Summary: I've used this GPS for about 2 weeks now and it works very well for such a small package. It pairs with my devices just fine and is small enough to fit anywhere.

Strengths: Small, locks a fix very fast.
Weaknesses: None at this moment.
Summary: This a very nice portable GPS. It works great with my Palm T|X and my Blackberry Pearl cellular phone (with Google Maps). Is is also very practical because of its tiny size. I was also impressed how fast it locks a fix position from satellites.

Strengths: Size is extremely small. Bluetooth connectivity is excellent. The best part is the USB connection which is quite rare for tiny GPS receivers.
Weaknesses: Battery life is not long enough but what you can expect for such small receiver. Of course using USB cable can solve the problem.
Summary: I am very happy with this receiver. We are using the GPS for applications where weight matters very much. This tiny receiver fits our needs very well. The additional USB connection is really a PLUS, which is really convenient for us.

Takes some time to lock onto satellite signal.
Strengths: Very small. When it works, it works well.
Weaknesses: Tempermental.
Summary: I've been using this blue tooth GPS receiver with my Palm Treo 700 and TomTom Navigator 6. It can take anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes to find a GPS signal. Sometimes it doesn't lock on at all. Overall, I am not very pleased with this device.

Strengths: compact, quick, sensitive
Weaknesses: short battery life?
Summary: This is my first gps, so I don't have anything to compare it with. However, it seems fairly accurate, quick enough when using with a Palm T|X, does not lose bluetooth signal, but does lose gps signal when going under highways. Signal acquisition is fast, but needs to be stationary for for a while. Otherwise, it may never acquire a signal. Battery life is good for the size, but it does not get a full 8 hours, it is more like ~6, slightly over 7 if lucky. This is really not that bad, considering it includes a car charger. Overall, a great gps, and I am very satisfied with it.

Strengths: Blue Tooth, short aquisition time, slim design
Weaknesses: Sometimes it takes much longer then usual to acquire the satellite.
Summary: I have owned this device for over a month. The experience is so far so good. I love the compact design. This device fits easily in my pocket. Acquisition time is relatively short. However, sometimes at the same spot, it takes the device much longer than usual to acquire a satellite, even though the sky is clear...I don't know what caused this. Otherwise, this is a great GPS receiver.
