Strengths: Bright display, many hook ups on back, low cost replacement lamp $250 at onsale. remote w/mouse
Weaknesses: remote with mouse which I thought was great but it is infrared very slow response. carying case too thin.
Summary: Nice sleek design, not as boxy as some projectors, I have a Toshiba laptop too. I use them for seminars. It works good in a well lit room. I use it at home for movies (projectors are great as a flat screen alternative) but you have to be able to arange your furniture (Couch sideways) if you don't set it up permanently in your house because the projector has to be hooked up to TV or DVD and project the BIG picture on the back wall or screen. when I was looking a while back I saw a toshiba with a wireless video connection. I don't know why all Projectors don't have this feature yet. When first hooking up make sure you know which one its in. there are two monitor in and one out. Sometimes the Laptop dual monitor mode is tricky. Make sure you get it down before you go to a presentation. My other mouse/pointer is faster than the one with the projector, besides that This projector is a GOOD choice.
